Wow! I never thought I'd reach this far! Since practically it's Direct Day for most people, I'm in the spirit of giving, so here's a printer in return for the thought! Black Friday sales are a hell of a steal, I tell ya.

Buddy. The history and sales speak for themselves really. The series has been on Nintendo consoles since the SNES era, and has had numerous installments, most of them being on Nintendo systems. The series has two spin-offs, being the massively popular Persona series, and the Devil Summoner series. Persona 5 sold over 2 million copies alone by 2017, and Persona 4 has had a ****-ton of spinoffs, with each being as successful as the last. Lets not forget the anime series and multiple movies made for the Persona series, as well as Nintendo's collaboration with Atlus on Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE.
Like, everyone cites Rabbids Kingdom Battle as evidence of Rayman's chances, why not cite Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE as evidence for an Atlus character's chances?

If you are making an argument, why not try making it rather than saying it speaks for itself? You clearly can make that argument fine, you do it right here- but no, it doesnt speak for itself, and if it did, you would not need to post at all. Buddy.
With my final prediction. I'm hoping they'll set their reveals on Bowser's Castle as a stage. While they're at it. That'd be also a good time to feature Dry Bowser as a costume for Bowser. It worked for Meta Ridley. It'd be no issue in making Dry Bowser an costume either.
Hello everybody, I just wanted to share something here.
In ultimate, i already get pretty much everything i wanted.
I always mained Peach since melee, where she had the cutest design if all Peaches (fight me) and a good Daisy design.
I always was more of a fan of Daisy so i was disappointed that her Daisy alt got lazier and lazier.
And now I got Daisy.
I don‘t mind her being an echo because I like Peaches fighting style(even if i‘m bad at it) sothere is no risk of Daisy being a character I can‘t stand to play.
After being sceptical about Splatoon at first, I quickly fell in love with it. I‘m medicore at it and became a total nerd. Start talking about splatoon and I will never stop talking.
Now Inkling is in the game and looks super fun to play. They even have a roller special which i really really wanted, lol.
Last is Zelda. I suck at her BUT i was always nerding about her ALttP and albw design. Even if nobody talked about it. I‘m just terrorizing my friends sometimes with „oh you know what my fave Zelda design is?? Good you didn‘t ask!“
And now i got pretty Zelda.
Hope more of you felt like it was their b-day/christmas after a reveal of something.
I apologize for typos(not really) but I‘m on my phone and moving.
What do you guys think about a Metroidvania mode for Ultimate? Like let's say there's this mode where the player chooses a character, and then they are put in a massive enviornment where they are required to explore to find new items, new trophies to collect, bosses to fight, and unlock new characters by fighting them in character battles. Each envoirnment would be based of a different series. There'd be a Mario theme envoirnment, a Zelda themed envoirnment, a Metroid themed envoirnment, a Pokemon themed envoirnment, and much more. Of course, enemies, character battles, and bosses would match the envoirnment. And once all the areas are cleared, you travel to Subspace for a rematch with Tabbu. What do ya'll think? Could it work?
I can't wait for Sakurai to be sitting in a room with a 50 foot tall monster statue so people can debate if it's Doshin the Giant or Godzilla coming to Smash.
Yes, I made a funny, even when I was the one who brought up the chairs theory. Shoot me.

Nah, that's a marketing ploy by AtlusUSA when Nocturne first hit shelves.
The logic was "oh hey, SMT 3 sold well, we should establish a common thread between these games to associate them with each other and get the fans to cross-buy these games."
They all fall under the Megami Tensei brand of spinoffs, branching from the OG Megami Tensei game, which in and of itself, is a branch of a novel series.
So SMT is just another branch with its own spinoffs on top of its mainline and Persona is another branch with its own spinoffs. You can say they're related, but saying that Persona is a spinoff of SMT is like saying your nephew is actually your brother.
So pretty much every game 2003-2008 had the SMT logo slapped on regardless of whether it was actually a spinoff of SMT or not.
That's why you have stupid stuff like Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. The Soulless Army
Imagine if you're watching the newcomer trailer and for some reason, the next character to die is YOU. You watch as the newcomer annihilates your mortal body. Wouldn't that be weird?
So what? The game hasn't been released yet. They'll probably eventually show it. If he wasn't gonna be in the game. They never would had shown Meta Ridley in his reveal trailer.

I like to play a little Metroid from time to time, sometimes with a little help from a guide when I get frustrated or lost, but generally Metroidvania is not my genre.
I'd probably end up 100% completing a mode like that though, just because it's Smash Brothers and I'm willing to tolerate any amount of tedious backtracking and running around the same area in circles trying to find my way forwards as long as I get to do it in a Smash game.

That's not entirely true. Shin Megami Tensei is a direct sequel to Megami Tensei 2. The thought behind it was that they wanted a fresh start on the series and so they named it, literally, "true" Megami Tensei. Shin Megami Tensei, in all intents and purposes, is the continuation, the sequel, of the Megami Tensei series. It's why you don't see anymore Megami Tensei games.
It's like how Dynasty Warriors is. We're actually a number ahead of Japan in the west because when Dynasty Warriors first came out it was a one on one fighting game and was labeled Sangokumusou, they decided that the series needed a new direction so they decided to name it Shin ("true") Sangokumusou, our Dynasty Warriors 2, and what most people know as the formulaic Dynasty Warriors game. Shin Sangokumusou isn't a spinoff from Sangokumusou, it is the continuation/sequel of it, and in that same way Shin Megami Tensei is the continuation/sequel of Megami Tensei.
So, yes, Persona is a spinoff of Shin Megami Tensei in every way it could be considered. It even started off as a Shin Megami Tensei Game. Shin Megami Tensei If is the first Persona game. The setting was deemed so popular that it spawned Persona. Luckily Persona has evolved far beyond that, manifesting as it's own blockbuster franchise.
I guess you might can tell that I'm, uh, a bit of a closet SMT fan... Persona lesser so, but I'm still of fan of those too.
Still think it's weird to have a random Barrel and wooden ladder in your room, to then anounce K. Rool in the second direct. So it does give it atleast a lil bit of credibility. But tonight is the deciding factor. Also, I barely slept, so I might be checking it out the day after

Just stumbled upon some information about Kemono Friends. Turns out it debuted as a video game giving a character from that series a slim chance yes but still higher than a certain orange garbed, spikey haired alien.
Personally, I've reached the stage where I don't set any expectations and am happy with whatever they reveal. I guess you become less demanding as you get older, and what I've seen so far is already enough for me to be satisfied with this game. They could literally not add anything to what has been revealed so far and I'd buy it and enjoy it.
The one thing I haven't enjoyed while waiting for this game is the sense of entitlement from some of the fans; it's cool to be hyped and have a wish-list, but it's really gone overboard.
