I was fortunate enough to be born in a location that isn't plagued by heavy natural disasters. I can't imagine what it's like to go through these things. My heart goes out to everyone who's had to deal with the cruel mistress that is Mother Nature.

Eh true. Ignore my brain flops, please Don't know very much about this stuff. All i really know is that Mountains kinda can help against Tornados and that's it. Kinda figured same with Tsunamis since I'm not near large bodies of water.

Tornadoes happen in a lot of other states, flatter states like Kentucky are at a real risk for that. I live on a higher plain, so floods aren't as bad as they could be. Memphis can be easily flooded in some parts for some reason and that's weird to me.

True. True. guess alot of rain could flood an area. Don't really watch many news stations and stuff like that. So i don't know much about the natural disasters they report about. Hope that made sense.

Most I've had is heavy rain and a tiny earthquake to be honest...

Tornadoes happen in a lot of other states, flatter states like Kentucky are at a real risk for that. I live on a higher plain, so floods aren't as bad as they could be. Memphis can be easily flooded in some parts for some reason and that's weird to me.

On the topic of the Best Buy demo, I thought that I'd get a chance to try it this weekend because I'm going to be visiting LA. However, I double checked and found out that their demo is actually going to be on the 15th/16th, so I'll have to go without.

I'm considering buying a used copy of Brawl and finally playing Subspace Emissary, but my time is probably better spent playing something else.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think Nintendo does Direct presentations on weekends, so I doubt the new date is the eighth or ninth.

I live in the flat part of Ohio, but sliiiiightly elevated compared to the surrounding area, so even tornadoes that form near the highway right outside the city don't bother us. The closest I've had to a natural disaster personally was back from Hurricane Ike 10 years ago, where it sent a massive windstorm up that ripped up all our trees and powerlines for a week. This was just the leftover wind from that event and it put us out of power for a week. Japan's dealing with two very powerful events right now and are still planning power restoration within that same time frame. That is impressive and an incredible recovery effort on their part, so like kudos to everyone over there for their response.

I lived in Ohio for Ike and I remember that. I actually drove from Columbus to Chicago to see my parents and a whole portion of I-65 was flooded from all the excess rain. I had to make a detour and my phone was having trouble getting a connection, so I was lost for hours.

Man, I don't know what to tell you. I'm pissed off beyond all belief, I probably don't even mean half the things I've said today. I'm happy that there are people helping out and I do hope they succeed.

I suppose you're right, it's stupid of me to have been acting this way all this time. It's just...It's hard not to assume malicious intent a lot of the time, Y'know? I'm just used to assuming people mean the worst and it's hard to get out of that mindset and see that some people are genuinely well-meaning.

I'm very sorry for how I've acted to day. God, I've been an *******. I've been so wrapped up frustration and anger that I've lashed out at people without thought or consideration and I don't know how to make it up. All I can really do is ask for forgiveness and promise not to do something like this again.

Well, I think it's very nice of you to apologize for that. It's not always easy to admit to doing or saying bad things (Trust me, I understand how that feels lol). Truth be told, I used to see things the same way you did, assuming that everyone has some sort of malicious intent behind the stuff they do (mostly due to an event that happened which is kinda personal). But after a REALLY bad storm hit my place and severely damaged the city's town hall, everyone in the community helped out in cleaning it up. After seeing that, it made me realise that there actually is some good in people. I just need to not focus on all the bad that comes with it. So once again, that apology was definitely very nice of you.

Oh lord don't remind me. I felt bad I didn't realize I cut many people when I tried the demo and they tried to get me thrown to the. Even I played the "Deaf card" and it worked lmao
