So random question. If Banjo-Kazooie were the only newcomer revealed tomorrow. How would fans and people here react or feel about it?

I for one would be very hyped.

You heard it here folks. If one of these happens, this will last for two weeks.

• If Banjo is announced tommorrow, I will change my avatar to a literal banjo.
• If Incineroar is revealed, I will change my avatar to Dwayne The Rock Johnson.
• If Isaac is revealed, I will change my avatar to a literal golden sun.
• If Skull Kid is announced, I change my avatar to something Majora's Mask related.
• If a new echo fighter is announced, the avatar I end up with will be flipped upside down.

That said, I love your current avatar.

Smash is literally the only Nintendo title I care about. I just want Smash news, I could care less about the other games.

3DS demos could only be launched a certain number of times, but Switch demos have no limitations unless they're special demos like the Splatoon Test Fire or the Mario Tennis Aces demo tournament.

Locking a "demo" behind a paywall is crap. Not gonna happen.

I thought he'd happen eventually. But that's cause of Captain N Fan Bias.

...Now that I know Nintendo actually owns Captain N fully, it's a bit more funny in hindsight that I saw him coming at some point(no, I didn't think he was a shoo-in this game, specifically. Hell, Ridley surprised me even more, and I had him on my rosters since Melee alone).

I still want a character that focuses on Nintendo peripherals or controllers in general. I think it'd be neat

Those demos weren't locked behind paywalls... You just couldn't play them outside of the set time Nintendo gave you.

All I can say is if you never give anything else a chance you'll probably miss out on games just as a great or maybe even better than Smash, but you'll never know.

I really only intended on having Odyssey, Breath of the Wild, and Smash by the end of the year. Just the big boy IPs.

That's what sucks; Captain N has no game appearances, which kills any chance he could ever get in Smash, which was very low to begin with(despite being Nintendo-owned). It was not a popular show by any means, and that's for good reasons. I'm a non-ironic fan, and I do admit I think King Hippo looks awesome in it, but so does Eggplant Wizard and Mother Brain. Regardless, the best I could see him is being a Mii Gunner costume right now. If he ever does become active again, a game feels like it could happen at some point. But I think the first game appearance he'd get at best is the costume mentioned above. He honestly wouldn't make sense outside of a crossover. Though maybe Mario Kart could also work, but considering he isn't a Nintendo All-Star by any means...

I still assert that the only reason Steve would be a bad newcomer is because he'd clash with Smash's artstyle. His moveset would be cool, though.

Excuse the leap of logic. The thought just tingles.

Imagine if we got that "Super Smash Bros x [insert series here]" splash like with the third party DLC characters in Smash 4 and Castlevania in Ultimate...

...but it says "Nintendo x Microsoft" for those servers...AND ALSO a Microsoft character in Smash, like Banjo or hell even Master Chief?

Wouldn't that be cool?

Scroll up, someone mentioned the demo was tied to the controller. You said demos have a limited number of plays. She said switch demos don't have a limit, which is actually false. The Poken tournament Switch demo has a play limit. But that's off topic.

Putting a demo behind an 80 dollar controller is not gonna happen.
