I hate what the whole DLC "Season Pass" scheme has done for the gaming landscape in general. If they want to put more characters in Smash but don't have enough time before release and put them out as DLC, that's understandable. But the words mentioned that I agree with were "Season Pass".

I remember hearing people say it was never the Black Knight in the first place in the background. Like it was just a knight. I don't play FE though so I wouldn't be able to tell, I just remember seeing that as a counter argument.
She was paired with diddy but they would've likely been a tag team like in the DKC games, allowing them to switch out with one another where they would have separate movesets. There's not much point in what is essentially a transforming character if they did play the same.

Hmmm that's personally a fair point. Still there's also the fact he appears as a Mii costume in Smash 4. Yes I'm well aware some of those didn't make the cut like Zero but just food for thought.

There's debate between Isaac and Geno being the third member of the "trinity," but both are equally important, so I count them both.
Still an hour and a half before it's due inn't?

Still, even on reddit I don't see a peep of confidence anymore. I'd love to find these mythical lands.
I think that some of the Smash fanbase might say they are equivalent. But theres really nothing similar about them.

But I don't think it's a bad trend since it lends itself to move set discussion and might force people to think creatively. I can understand your frustration if you think people should not dismiss a character because they themselves can't think of a moveset, but I'm just saying Sakurai sometimes runs into trouble with movesets as well, but I think he loves the challenge.
Which is why I said the move set rests with the creator, though I think it's still fine to speculate on which characters could have an interesting move set, or to share ideas for move sets for characters that people previously thought couldn't have any. Honestly in the discussion board if someone says "This character doesn't have a move set", you are free to interject and say "no, the move set could be this, this, and this", so I don't see it as a big issue. From there, the conversation could progress to move set discussion which I think is positive since this is a video game and move set is one of the most important things.
