loz18 never said Skull Kid was a boss, that was all LeakyPandy. The discord leak even shows him being almost sure Skull Kid is playable.

the loz18 on Gaia Online isn't the real him, doesn't even have the same typing style, and goes against his stance on Isabelle.

It’s an effort, but it’s by no means real. Shadow’s movement is extremely choppy and he looks more like a clay figure, and the use of a flat character like Game and Watch raises an eyebrow.

The leaker actually came out and confessed on Twitter that this was his leak, it was a nice effort in all honesty but I kinda figured there was too many discrepancies for it to be true.

I don't know about anything they've leaked non-Nintendo-wise, but apparently they got the date of either the March or August direct correct, but all of the contents wrong. (I think it was the March one.)

Also said something about Luigi's Mansion Kingdom DLC in Mario Odyssey, which didn't come to be; was probably part of what they said was in the direct.

Didn't have Dark Samus, could have been incomplete, this leak is worth investigating

also here's a theory I had regarding Leaky and loz18 that I posted on the Skull Kid thread:

"...assuming they have actual info that they've seen / info from sources:

-Based on what loz18 said, it sounds like these scripts or whatever for directs can be confusing. It sounds like he wasn't completely sure whether K. Rool was a boss or a playable character, but he couldn't imagine a boss being revealed in the last two minutes and so he decided on K. Rool being playable

-LeakyPandy's source, on the otherhand, may have had similar info for Skull Kid in a direct script/whatever, but couldn't see him as playable and so decided on him being a boss (despite every Smash Bros. boss being 2big4smash)

So the scripts they had info from may be work-in-progress or they only had part of them, or they're just confusing in general."

I agree with this, also its possible leakypandy was just in the discord chat or knew someone who was etc... and based off of hearing about loz18 getting "unclear" scripts for characters decided to guess against skull kid as playable and say boss instead.

if it turns out right, suddenly leakypandy is a new smash ultimate leaker with real info. I know thats really thinking the worst case scenario for leakypandy here but its a possibility. now that its known loz18 is basically gambling on what a characters role is, simply betting against him convictly in public could end up making someone appear to be credible when really all they know is loz18 isnt 100% sure of characters roles, just that the character is in smash in some form.
