Do you even Smash?

There have been stages with music from games that aren't even in the same series as the stage is based on.

There have been stages with music belonging to multiple characters but only one character from said series is the rep.

There have been stages with music that ranges across the entire series the stage is based on.

It doesn't matter if it's a Midgar theme.

Midgar could house all kinds of FF7 music (hell it could house all FF music if it wanted) and currently?

It holds 2. One of which is even the very song you're saying a remix of would be ill fit for.

You have no point or grounding to stand on.

i think people are getting carried away with echoes honestly. i truly dont get how anyone could advocate for yet another FE echo. FE moveset being duplicated over and over is not a good look. people talk about proper representation in smash for franchises and characters whent hey discuss dark samus and shadow but FE as a series ahs the appearance in smash that its characters and weapons dont matter because thier all the same sword using similar hairstyle character just duplicated for years.

i dont think smash has done a very good job with certain franchises and FE is at the top if the list. making clones of clones is dumb imo. and while i get Lucina being a clone as it fits her character and story the others dont and black knight being discussed now as a ful like clone is honestly my breaking point. im not an FE fan but i do feel for them on this.

As long as they are fun to play as, I don't care. I'd rather have a fun clone then an unfun original.

I'll never understand why anyone would choose to cut characters, even clones, in these scenarios where they have complete control.

I don't want the same character to take up more than one slot. Plus, I thought them being transformations was a clean idea that made sense.

Technically & aren't the same character since Zelda is from A Link to the Past and this Sheik is an original based on armor from Breath of the Wild, but canonically is only Ocarina of Time & Hyrule Warriors Zeldas.

As for & , I really don't want to put in a code or do a Final Smash to play as the version I want..

Other than the fact that everyone is trying to convince everyone else that their opinion is better when as far as I can tell everyone agrees, none of the current discussions have anything for me, So I wanted to ask, If you had 100% control over Smash ultimate charecters what would you do? Most notably, I would add Octoling skins for Inkling, while un-standardizing the amount of charecter skins, (some need more than 8 some don't), and addin Tails, Eggman, Shadow, Monika, and Cuphead as full charecters. Because I am a madman. I would also buff Wii Fit trainer to be the best charecter in the game, see previous statement.

Hmm..... I don't know what I'd do to improve Smash..... but me and my friend came up with a list of ways we'd ruin Smash (WIP):

• Add Goku, Shrek, Spongebob, Spiderman, Lebron James, Ronald McDonald, etc
• Include the Fidget Spinner and Dat Boi as items.
• Add 20 Marth echos and rename the game Super Marth Bros
• Main menu theme is earrape. At minimum volume, it's 5,000x the normal volume.
• Every clone/semi-clone is an alt costume. Even Ganondorf.
• Mario and Luigi have this as a Smash taunt
• Everyone has a nude alt
• You can only play as Hitler Miis
• Everybody is unviable. Like Brawl Minus, except everyone sucks instead of being OP.
• The "Spirits" mode is Wario trying to date all the other male Smashers. Best mode in the franchise.

There, now Smash is ruined forever....... (but I'd play this every day )

Speaking of Dissidia NT, I got it Christmas last year and haven't really touched it since. >_>

If I had my way way with Smash

My only rules:

*Characters must originate from a video game
*Characters who do not have movesets canon to their character would be changed to accommodate their original or canon appearances(if applicable)
*Balancing for competition will be implemented further, while attempting to keep the game solid for casual gamers
* Updates and new content for the next 5 years. At least half of which will be voted upon by players within the game itself as events.
* Online ranking, improved friend system, allow all multiplayer modes and custom rules queues.

I'm hoping it's cause they wanna show off more revamped final smashes in a future direct.
