But that’s why everybody loves him.

I find the Brawl in the Family comics to be far more accurate to the source material.

I just realized something. They changed Pit's final smash....One of the reasons Dark Pit was a clone and not an alt was because it'd be weird if he used the 3 sacred treasures right? Now that Pit has the chariot...Didn't Dark Pit use that too?

Yeah, in fact I'd say it's his most iconic mega-move considering he SAVES PALUTENA'S LIFE using it to crash into another dimension.

I recall people saying she had a pretty solid support group for Brawl. I don't recall her being huge in Smash 4 speculation until DLC though, and even then I think people really wanted Wolf back more.

Dark Pit is now actually useless as a separate character. Sakurai played the long-con to get his new OC into Smash.

I wonder what the reaction would be if it turned out Isabelle was an entirely new character, and not just an Echo.

I've noticed that a lot of people on this site don't want to entertain the fact that she could likely be unique. It's like they all see her as likely but aren't really fond of her so they relegate her to echo just to get her out of the way.
Animal Crossing is such a successful and popular franchise that has tons to offer yet only has one character, it'll be a shame to see Isabelle's potential go to waste by being an echo when she can do so much more

Different specials/damage percentage/speed/mobility/combo skills/arials/weight while echoes aren’t overly different from their originals...do I need to go on?

• Enderpearl Teleport and/or Elytra (Up B)
• Minecart (S-pecial or Dash attack)

• Flint & Steel (Down Tilt)
• Splash Potion

not to mention other potential things for moves like

See, I just consider him my scapegoat for everything I hated about Sm4sh. Everyone has a scapegoat character. He's mine.

And as much as I hate to admit his theme is actually pretty awesome, I'm still annoyed about one thing with him...

I was really hoping that Ultimate would make Dark Pit significantly different from Pit (like Luigi compared to Mario) and not just a glorified alt costume, but alas, I'm left disappointed again.

You know what would be the best part Goku in the roster? It would mean that, if someone ended up leaking the entire roster early, pretty much no one would believe it simply because it has Goku in it. Then the final roster would still be a surprise. Sakurai hates leaks, right? So he totally should add him.

I wouldn't mind Goku, or one of the other Big 6 (Luffy, Naruto, Ichigo, Natsu, and Izuku Midoriya) for Smash. Also your whole scenario reminds me of this...

Because changing entire moves would take a lot more balancing. I'm surprised they even changed her roll. And hey, at least it makes sense for Dark Samus to have all of Samus's abilities, even if she has even more on top of that.

At the very least, I'm just glad SmashBoards seems to have an actual moral compass about this. I've legitimately seen people on the Smash Bros. subreddit saying that's fine, or just purposely denying the existence of that at all.

If you ask me, Steve is the easiest character to make a moveset for out of any character I can think of. He just has so many options for any kind of move or archetype. A recovery alone I could think of 3 or 4 different options just for that.

That also gives me another question, though. If Steve did get in, what kind of fighter would he be? I'm wondering how people who would want him would like to see him play. I could see them going with a defensive, building character like Villager or something more like Link, or even something completely different. Would anyone be disappointed if they did Steve's moveset the "wrong" way? Is there a wrong way?
