Rainbow Curse and Battle Royale. Chandeelure can probably articulate better why Bandanna Dee is now a regular member of the main cast now since he is actually a fan of the character whereas I am just a bystander. I'm gonna stick to my final prediction line-up I made back in July though. I still wanna be bold with the July predictions and not change anything, despite the missed opportunities to predict some echos.

I wouldn't be surprised if it happens tho. KH3 is coming, there has been multiple KH games on Nintendo before and I wouldn't find it weird if both Sakurai and SE/Disney want to promote KH3 even more with the inclusion of Sora in Smash, after all Disney and SE have good relationship with Nintendo now. Just saying… don't be surprised if it happens, cause it could make perfect sense if it happens.

It helps that he's a Sakurai creation as well, so he wouldn't be that hard to negotiate for. However, the slight issue is that Star Allies (his latest appearance) is a liiiiiittle too recent to take the moves he uses in that into account, so he would end up being DLC at best.

And the kicker is, I could see Sora being our showstopper/big finale reveal. Many, many fans have been asking for Sora, for all we know he could be as top secret as Pacman was, with no one knowing except an exclusive few until it came time to reveal him.

Yeah no matter how much in denial some people get, Sora's chances are HUGE and would make a lot of sense if happen at all. Disney loves Nintendo and vice versa, I don't see their gaming icon in smash as a far reach dream at all. Plus their way of promoting KH3 is insane and non-stop now.

Pacman wasn’t well kept. He was one of the first fighters leaked and once Namco was revealed to be making it everyone knew he was coming.
Real talk, Kirby has some neat support characters. The only real way to scrape the bottom of the barrel (besides cases like Prince Fluff, who until further notice are only in one game) would be to ask for helpers like Knuckle Joe, who can easily fulfill AT roles.
Also, Squeenix is currently a hassle when it comes to having much Final Fantasy content in Smash, let alone this.
