Why does everyone trust Vergeben so much?

Like he did get some things right, but he is not perfect.

We should not view Vergeben as the guy who is always right.

It is getting more annoying when you all erase or disprove characters in the discussion because Vergeben said they are not coming in Smash.

If we do get a GenVII starter, I hope it's Primarina because Primarina>Decidueye>>>Incineroar. Plus the moveset would be so unique by necessity

It's Mimikyu or one of the other starters like Incineroar.

It's not going to be Lycanroc. I'll saw off and eat my own foot if it's Lycanroc.

He's always come across very dark horse, you know like the dark horse that the community tries to paint Mimikyu to be.

With Lycanroc there's the hurdle of having to work out a quadruped moveset (obviously, it's not impossible).

While Incineroar has a super obvious niche to fill.

Not to mention that Isaac can fill the geomancer role Lycanroc fills just as well. >_>

I don't think I believe in any kind of Vergeben thing.
However, I do appreciate the new angles people are made to look at the game with. I don't think anyone genuinely believes Decidueye is off the table, but for the purposes of speculation the hypothetical probably means someone they like over the bird has a higher chance, which would make them excited (obviously)

Hey, after all this, can we now come to terms and just expect Smash info from directs? This feels identical to pre-Smash 4 and it never delivered aside from Pac-Man which was a closed-off thing. If we're ever going to get more new info, it's going to be a Direct, there's no reason to expect otherwise.

Well I don't really trust him that much. His past is too shaky for me, but since we really don't have anything else to go off of, all we can do is just speculate with the information that he gives.
