One benefit to being part of a franchise that isn't noticed anymore is that no one will bother to censor profanity on your outfit.

I wouldn't trade Fire Mario for anything.

All signs point to 8 costumes a character. Hoping for otherwise is setting yourself up for a disappointment.

I hope we get more than 8 for some characters. A lot of people are assuming that Riddles' black color is a placeholder for Meta-Ridley, but it actually looks good in its own right. And look at that color selector for Little Mac - DLC anyone?

Especially for characters like the Zelda crew who have had loads of different looks.

Mario I'm a little annoyed that he lost Jumpman and Fire Mario, but kept Waluigi (which really makes no sense for him). Still, builder Mario is all kinds of awesome.

True. In any case they did get more lenient about Devil World content inclusion from Brawl onwards, since that has Christian references.

Got some new info for you smash ******. Don't expect anything substantial since there's nothing about playable characters.

Assist Trophies:

>SF: Charlie Nash

>Other: Ayumi Tachibana


Stages:

>Metal Cavern is returning as a properly playable stage.

>FoD, Brinstar Depths and Poke Floats are returning. The latter is the same stage, but with Mimikyu added to represent Gen 7.

>Pirate Ship and Hanenbow are retuning.

>Orbital Gate Assault is returning. Pyrosphere is up in the air right now, but my source is leaning towards it being but, based on their own, personal speculation.

Off topic: don't be surprised if Stealth ( S Stealth___ on twitter) is right regarding a Direct in the second half of August.

Oh awesome. You know what, if he wasn’t demo playable (which I assume he wasn’t after reading that costume wiki page) and they made that change, I’m going to hope they at least give it a little different announcer voice and make him a koopaling type alt if not an echo they accidentlaly revealed.

I can live without jumpman, it’s a shame and I picked that a lot. But I can live. I understand getting rid of Wario, he’s in the game. But man, getting rid of Fire Mario just burns.

I'm finding the leak dubious because of this alone, because there's no way they'd pay enough attention to F-Zero to even give it another AT, as it stands right now. Even as a Jody fan.

I'd honestly love to see Lyn in Smash Bros. She's the most popular lord based off of the first Choose Your Legends poll (Which the devs thought Lucina was going to win) and could definitely bring something new to the table with her fast and flashy fighting style. She can also use a bow, which opens up more possibilities.

Lyn for Smash Ultimate DLC. Lets make it happen guys.

I think every franchise in smash should have at least one assist trophy. ATs exist so characters who didn't make the cut can still be represented, every series has a few of those.
