Stages?
All I want is at least one more Fire Emblem stage based on a specific location. Arena Ferox was a breath of fresh air in this regard, as both Castle Siege and Coliseum (which, to make matters worse, Treehouse managed to misname...it should be called The Arena), are more of generic, reappearing concepts. Castle Siege is a generic castle fight and the Coliseum (which, as I said before, should've been called The Arena) is a general location that takes inspiration from several games. Notably the layout seems Shadow Dragon esque while the dragon calls to mind the GBA games.
The specificity is what makes Arena Ferox one of my favorite Smash stages ever.
Give me Duma Tower, a battle atop a massive, decrepit stairway as you fight off the gargoyles that swarm the stage.
Give me the Macedonian Aerie, the ominous and craggy clifftop citadel as Minerva and Michalis take to the skies to fight in the background.
Give me the sprawling desert oasis of Khadein, its academy looming in the background as Gharnef's mages affect the battle.
Give me Nifl, Heroes' kingdom of ice, as it is beset by Surtr.
Give me Awakening's climactic battle on the back of Grima.
Fog of War maps. Boat maps. The Battle of Belhalla. The Tower of Valni. Battle Before Dawn.
Hell, an Outrealm Gate stage that'd act as a touring stage would allow for several different locations.
The series just has so much stage potential for it to be stuck with mostly generic stages aside from Arena Ferox.
