Hello there my name is Hedi, yeh i live in mexico and i have been in 3 smash mex, and trust me
you will have fun, and since this is the 10th edition of the SMX this is going to be BIG, so guys trust me Guadalajara pwns <Tequila, Turs, good "Antros">, Guadalajara is rlly beautifull, and yeh alot of ppl here speak english.
The melee game level is pretty good ( i dont play melee as much as before , so idk the tournament level, but the twins are sick)
and we have rlly rlly good brawl players, we have visited the Texas Region playing against all those good players over there.
so for the guys that are comming here, Bienvenidos a Guadalajara.

For haters: No, Mexico is NOT dangerous.
Those issues are only on certain border cities, other than that, it's pretty nice!
I'm form San Luis Potosi, about 3½-4 hours driving from Guadalajara (but highway fees are silly... =___= w/e).
Guys seems to have planned many things to do during all over the week, not only on the tournaments days.

For the record, I think there's a Chicago-SanLuisPotosi fly, but not sure about the prices...

Just dont go to Ciudad Juarez, Monterrey(i think), Mexico City and Tamaulipas, i think those are the most dangerous places, but i think guadalajara is ok....I THINK

it also depends where do u live, some places are safer than others here in mty
