Do you remember Sakurai's New Year's Resolution? He said he wanted to get the game released within 2014. So, it seems quite unlikely that the game will be pushed into 2015.

I'll tell you how I feel. Slightly bonkers.
I especially doubt they'd already delay the game now. Delays usually happen closer to the actual deadline, so I wouldn't expect a 2015 delay until towards this year's end. Heck, I wouldn't expect it period.
8 months before the end of the year? There's no way... Brawl's was understandable because it was announced half way through October but with SSB4 already having about 28 months under its belt, there's no way they'd call it this soon. I don't think Nintendo's ever announced a delay further than 2 months before it was supposed to release *suddenly has flashbacks of Twilight Princess and shivers*
If this happened, as unlikely and not quite fitting [especially the end and the Potd. The vengeance thing wasn't made up by Nintendo] this would be really cool.

Ironically enough, I've been of the opinion that if any character has the best chance of being 'resurrected', it might be Geno. Talk about coimng full circle.

I've seen this. Somebody theorized that it could be an arcade version of smash bros.
God, I wish... I really do. Aside from the director of the Mario and Luigi RPGs talking about considering reviving Geno and Mallow in future games last year, there's nothing to go off of. Geno's support base largely hollowed out after Brawl so it would be really out there if he actually managed to get Sakurai's attention after all these years.
Geno gets in. **** changes. The whole game changes. I actually would more than welcome this because so many people on Smashboards think they know what's what when it comes to character selection and Sakurai's choices for them.
If it were to happen, I think the decision would be made more from looking into the past and less on where things stand now.
