Probably when panda gets back.I wonder when the mods are going to move the thread.
Well, Dedede's Waddle Dees block projectiles, and he never has trouble, so it has to be Ike.Update #10: ?????
After a bit of a delay, we've finally begun discussing the new character of the week. This character has some difficulty with some of the faster characters, as well as characters with strong projectile spamming games. This character's recovery seems great, and was quite intimidating when the game was first released, but now that the game has been out for longer we've come to realize just how easy this character's recovery can be to punish sometimes. Always be careful when you're playing against this character; even if you're winning, the game can turn around instant if you don't react fast enough. When all is said and done, this character can be fun to play with, but is rarely fun to play against.
Can you guess who next week's character will be?
Oh boohoo.So.. Panda came on and off and not so much as a word to us?
I would fight for Bloo. And Wilt. He's awesomesauce.Ike fights for his IMAGINARY friends
Not if we stalk him like this!So.. Panda came on and off and not so much as a word to us?
No fair, mine is official art, yours are drawn. Can I photoshop shades onto mine to make it fair?my friends vs yours
mine has sunglasses
you lose Strivus.
I still say it's harder to punish when it's canceled then when it isn't. When DDD starts his upB it's common to run towards where he'll land, now when he doesn't cancel it, it's faster (no pause in the air) and you have to worry about the placement(spacing) of where you are to where he's landing (not all characters have sonic's speed or snake's projectile/mine use to help with this). If you can set myself up in a good spot to punish before it's too late, you still have the actual attack and the stars that fly out to worry about. One slip up on the non-DDD player on either the spacing or the timing of a dodge, they get hit. When it's canceled you can just keep running and you don't have anything to worry about. You can just continue to rush in and attack as he hits the ground or gets up. Not to mentioned all those failed upB-canceled edge-grabs.His recovery has its ups and downs (no pun intended). It is quick and travels far, allowing DDD to make it back from nearly any hit. On the other hand, it has a set trajectory until you cancel it and it is punishable by many characters.
