OK the situation is/was like this:

Problems:
- UCK's computer shut down randomly
- It was too slow to compress the streams to any easy-to-use format in real-time.
- It still dropped frames randomly making sound go out of sync.

How to fix:
- Repair the "unfinished" streams (took a day).
- Convert them to a better format (took another day).
- Manually go through the videos and fix the sync each time this happens (has taken half a day and I'm almost half-way through).

Fortunately my new computer is even faster than I first thought. During the night it's been working on the videos that I synced yesterday, so at least part of them will be up tonight.

And many condolences to Cash. Now I know why you acted so weird when I tried to play you. =(

But overall, this tournament was awesome! I can't wait until the Armada matches, including the overwhelming parasol-combo, gets up. (who recorded those anyway?) I met a lot of awesome people, played some good matches and enjoyed myself in Deutschland.

Next time you guys must come to Norway. =3

on the way home on sunday i left one of my bags in the train. I've been to the trainstations in bremen and hanover now and no, they don't have it. so appearently someone took my bag with my wii, cube, cables, cellphone charger, capture device, boxes, etc --> worth ~400€.

thats sucks.

Oh, and Yuna is ****** me and it hurts!

I hope this loss of capture decide won't affect the recorded matches in anyway. When they will be put up, seeing as you got the finals and ajp has the rest. But sorry for your loss, I can sympathise since I lost my precious controller too. :/

But **** people, do some shoutouts. >_> Those are the bread and butter of after tourney hype.

lol i got 3stocked by Flavasava in the first match of our set in the LB (underestimate/lack of sleep-johns)

However, i can't imagine that me and Remen got mixed up since i don't look nothing like Remen xD
Besides our matches weren't Fox dittos but Falco dittos and i didn't get 3 stocked twice in a row.
And like i already mentioned we met in the LB so this whole story wouldn't really make sense if I just got switched up with Remen

AJP uploads his videos through a server, and he uploads all the matches(including friendlies if they were recorded) matches, very quick. They are categorised by what TV played on and time/date, until they are identified. (Which he also does very well) He also might put up a thumbnail from each match.

For those not familiar with my videos or my homepage:
I have a server in the basement. It runs an http server (http://ajpanton.se/ssbm/) and an ftp server (ftp://ajpanton.se user:ssbm). This means that everything you download from there goes through my internet connection which recently got downgraded from 6 to 4 Mbit/s (upload). After a big release (new tournament videos) I turn down bittorrent so all bandwidth will be available for you to share =)

The beginning of the filenames are created automatically in the format X-yymmdd-hhmmss.mp4 where X is the TV (on Smack, A is the big middle one, B is the smaller one) and the rest is the date&time when the match started.

I just put a few matches in the Unidentified folder, meaning I haven't checked what they are yet and you will have to download them blindly. I'll go through them when I have time...

most of the falcon matches in friendlies were me haha, and most sunday morning matches were me but they aren't up yet

I'm also going to make a .bat file (with a version number) every time I change filenames or move them to another folder so that everyone can keep their downloaded videos up-to-date. So if you're going to download all of them at some point, you don't have to wait for the filenames to appear. Just hope I don't change the file you are currently downloading as it will probably mess up the downloaded file... =)

BTW, because of complaints on big files, these videos are lower quality than my videos normally are. I've already got new complaints on the lower quality, which makes my happy I'm not the only one who thinks quality>filesize. But going back to high quality will have to wait until the next tournament.

Identified a few matches... sorry too tired to go through all of your findings, will continue tomorrow.
First .bat-file created. You put it in the same folder as *all* of your downloaded matches and it will create a new folder tree and move the matches where they belong.

When more matches are named, I hope you will find that using the search box becomes very useful (worked a lot on creating it...) =)
