My friend's Falco, I'm Ness, he CGs me, he spikes, I DI back onto stage, I spike him, win at life

Yeah I still get hit by it sometimes. It doesnt help when ricky knows my playstyle too well. Also when ROB's in his up B, you cant airdodge unless you cancel it with an aerial and that takes too much time. Being vulnerable offstage. Recover HIGGGGGH

But yes, I'm scared of the foot. So I try not to do any risky off stage/planking stuff agasint him =P.

Ocean rocked up last tournament of last year. Played Toon Link against my Bowser in the low tier tournament.
...that was one strange tournament. Props to his beard though.

cant speak for crappy brawl players but most of the melee scene/high level players know how to play most if not all of the high teirs, or at least have a basic understanding of the fundamentals

i think in melee, characters have a lot of universal strong points, like wavedashing, shff, l-cancelling, etc.

in brawl, very few techniques are shared across characters, and even techniques that are common (eg dacus) are used very differently among characters.

i only know how to use 3 characters proficiently. thats enough imo.
