People are still bothered by Metaknight, and individual TO's can still choose to ban or not ban Metaknight.

But individual TOs could decide to ban him a long time ago if they wanted too.

People should try to do more to win against metaknight, especially those with a 60-40 or better match up against MK. :D

There's already a thread about SBR views on MK.
As stated previously, TO's can do whatever they want, and the SBR's decision is just a "weighted" recommendation.

What are you trying to say? I said the two things that make the Pikachu vs Fox match up ridiculous. Where did I imply that dthrow was like overrated in the match up?

And it's 70% with DI. finish with usmash, then follow horizontal DI with thunder, rinse and repeat.

Dude, this topic is always up for discussion, as is any topic. Findings of "not ban" or anything or that type are, technically speaking, temporary decisions until replaced. That includes the undiscussed currently, "ban Ganondorf" question. Obviously the answer to the vast majority of those questions will be "not ban", at least in regards to characters, but they are open questions until the decision is made to ban (in which case the "unban Ganondorf" question replaces it) if that decision ever is made.

This is the way discourse occurs because people need to be able to revise decisions.



Regardless, smashboards topics are not in the purview of the SBR. That power is reserved to the mod staff, and the SBR merely defines the official rules for Brawl tournaments.

That can be overcome if you have good range or quick speed, since you should always be able to punish him.

Overswarm wanted both first AND second place, and local tournaments instead of just major tournaments. As amazing as M2K might be, I don't think he's perfected the concept of time paradox to be able to attend every single tournament on every single weekend.

32 out of 76 is still less than 18 out of 38, though, so I'm not exactly sure what OS was getting at.

Oh I know he gets **** done, but that's because he's simply a good player, in my opinion. It pains me that he fails to take advantage of snake's stage control tools, at least from what I've seen. He's definitely not pushing the character at its full potential.
