Ahhh

Yea my friend Steel2nd made that for me and its in his photobucket.

And since I apparently don't know how to invade other people's photobuckets.....

I can't get it unless I ask him for it again. T_T

I'm gonna money match a samus in a few days, the basic idea is just needle fair right? I don't really have to do anything but think to beat samus do I?

dthrow > anything all the time.

i like to camp samus, but alukard says that the most difficult sheiks for him are the agressive ones.. soo.

take your pick.

doesn't matter it's samus.

just don't be stupid and tilt her when she's on the ground, or jab her excessively, or jump for more combo when it's clear her nair is coming, etc.

grab, aerials (spaced), shield game, and needles beat her so long as you're smart about it. whether you do so aggressively or defensively is pretty much your call. do what you're comfortable doing.

If you're on battlefield, and you're edgeguarding a fox or falco who is going to use firefox plan diagonal:

grab the edge

when they use it, ledhop onto the stage

before you land, throw a needle at them

take out chain

this ***** lolololol. They can't get out of it once they get hit by a needle. It ***** like hell. Just wiggle the chain when they get to the tip of it.

seriously people try it out

p im pretty sure brinstar sheik can do fairly well with. lava combos f-air is a hard punishment. and needles kinda run the place. it's just i main fox so why cp brinstar when we can goto rainbow cruise or green greens lol.

oh vanz 1 dollar next time faux sheik. and then my sheik your fox.

dude do you wanna play today or tomorrow i'd be willing to make a trip trying to practice.

edit: chain blows except on.... ps fox stage. lolol. after seeing m2ks super frame perfect chain wiggling.

if you space your fair you can slap samus' nair pretty squarely, so I say let her try to nair you. *****

I agree.

Pissed a buddy of mine off reaaaaaaaal good when I kept tech-chasing his Falco.

The only problem is that he would wisen up and start coming at me like a *****, pressuring my shield with lasers or the occasional pillar attempt. At this point, he'd see the WD OoS coming and would do something dumb like spot dodge. At this point, I only have myself to blame for being predictable but I digress.

I suppose the crux of the matter is this: It's been said on the boards that you don't control Falco's approach, that it's the player that controls Falco who does. What could I possibly do to weather that?

nair oos? idk how it'll work for a permanent solution (there is no real permanent solution) but it's a good start strategy.

it'll beat his sh nair and sh dair approaches if you're doing it right, the only thing he can really do about it is stand back and shoot you a lot but then you bust out the anti-laser strategies and **** him by counterattacking with sexual awesome. he could go over you, or do ground moves, but those are sufficiently less terrifying than his nair and dair for some strange reason. and then we begin the time-tested triangle of smash rps.

Awright, cool. I'll give it a try the next time I play.

This is going to sound like a more general question rather than a character specific one, but what other characters put horrendous pressure on shields?

Fox....

yea.. Fox....

Marth can pressure your shield... kinda.. although not through attacks but like through DD and fairs.....

KK- I mean if you are getting daired and you're stuck its worth a shot.

If you are getting shield pressured by falco you can either:

1) Nair OOS
2) Sidestep
3) Roll

Not many options.... >_>

Thankfully if you shield DI away and they hit your shield kinda too high you can nair pretty safely.

Roll is good if you think they are just using muscle memory to just dair you over and over but usually Falcos try to look for stuff like that can grab/dair whatever you.

i'm pretty sure this is not true

if falco lasers and approaches properly, doing the sh aerial approach when he's within one laser increment, the best thing to do is wd back, not nair oos. falco's nair and dair beat sheik's nair. but if you wd oos back, it messes up his timing more and it gives you more options: ftilt, pivot dash attack / boost grab / run away.

to beat falco's shield pressuring you either nair oos or wd back once they start learning how to beat nair oos. i am 90% sure that the nair oos doesn't work because i play a great falco all the time and i've tried to nair oos a bajillion times and it just doesn't work if he knows i'm gonna do it and beats it with a nair/dair (but mostly a nair)

if you wd oos he can start fsmashing you which will **** you, so it's all about changing it up

ps if you're close to falco and he does the little run around laser thing, the boost grab gets him. better option @ low percents when they just CC the dash attack and proceed to butt **** you

I'm weird when I play against a Falco I sort of pretend I'm a fox, I jump all over the platforms and try to get behind him and trick him with reverse needles off the top platforms or fall through bairs, after a bair I hope it started a tech chase, if it didn't I just sort of go from there. Also a lot of the falcos I play start the drill almost immediately so I can angle my shield up and get free grabs.

If they drill my shield I like to mix it up between rolling away and nairing OoS.

So yeah vs Samus just needle to what 40% so she can't CC my fairs? and obviously grab dthrow, at what percents is a fair inescapable from a grab? and if it can be countered by a nair should I just get under her and go for OoS options?

o ya i forgot about that up angle shield trick. They will start it early to beat your nair oos, so mixing up nairs with up angle shield and wd back oos is good. I wd forward oos sometimes cuz they anticipate a backwards wavedash and overshoot and u can snake under.

I dont like being in my shield at all though against falco. If i resort to one of these tactics it's cause he forced me into it.
