Oh, I hadn't seen that cutscene! Must have been a Console Addition, since the ones I've seen in the Part 2 of the AA version doesn't have that one.

That being said, one of the more cynical members of JTDaddy17's Discord was more critical of it. Primarily the Tan Line Island sequence and the repeat of tropes which he never specified, though he still gave it a 7/10

Not surprised they may have added more cutscenes. I have no idea what the AA had though.

Must have been due to how long that area was, the "Metal Gear Sexy" sequence in particular. There is a similar subplot in this, though not nearly as long.

It's a bit funny how much this game has in common with Pirate's Curse, right down to the more controversial bits.

Fatman insisted about rumors in regards to The Pokémon Company being real difficult about allowing DLC for their major Pokémon games before Sword/Shield, so I honestly don't know if we'll get a gen 8 this time.

Seriously. Last I checked, I was pretty sure that inclusion restrictions on third-parties having less than two games still haven't been lifted, yet everyone jumped on speculation on the TWEWY news like a bunch of moths to fire.

It's almost like there's an industry dedicated to games other than Smash.

At least this thread moved away quickly from that and more into which first-parties could be likelier.

More importantly though, I want folks here to play SSS so that I can actually bleeding talk about the plot points I've been holding back for so long.

I've been playing. Haven't beaten it yet but I got Harmony's Dance and just looking for random statues. not sure what they do yet, but I found 1 now I wanna find them all

They're pretty much the same thing as the random refresh blooms and zap gizmos lying around that give goodies. Usually gems, sometimes nuggets. Rarely, heart squids.

Let me know if you find any not indicated by digging Tinkerbats. Oh, and if you don't find statues from them, pound their spots with the tortoise instead.

From what I can tell, people are freaking out since the guy that leaked Cloud and Hero on Reset Era knew that something TWEWY related was in the works late last year, and now he's come out and made a quizzical statement about Neku in Smash. He doesn't actually know what TWEWY thing is coming, but people are speculating about it with no evidence regardless since they have nothing to talk about atm. If we get another Square character it won't be Neku. There are too many choices from them that are more popular.

I hope we don't need to wait till the end of the month though. I also hope he tells us who the next fighter after the rep is too.

I agree. Lol! These leakers have had no steam in the tank since base game probably because DLC is a totally different beast to figure out. Nintendo has all the DLC fighters' trailers locked up in their super secured vault along with the mythical unreleased grails like Earthbound 64 and Ura Zelda which is being guarded by the Reggie Fills-A-Mech and Weegee.

I too would like no spoilers, as it builds the suspense, but leakers were right about 2 of the DLC, Hero and Banjo. Hero had that code name, and Banjo had a lot of insider talk. the others were big surprises other then maybe 1 person mentioning it.

EDIT: Just wondering. I am trying to find the remaining cards I am missing. I think the fish those fish head guys throw must drop 1, as they drop other items and so far every enemy that drops items gives a card, but does anyone know for sure? been standing in 1 spot killing the fish for 10 minutes and nothing yuet

That window thing has always been bs lol. Trigger's style is very asymmetrical, so having the boards on the window slightly off kilter threw everyone into a huge tizzy. Nothing more to it.

I beat it already. I had the option of taking a holiday day off of work for the release date. Now to take on the Risky's Revenge styled New Game+.
