Low, honestly. Half-Genie Hero felt like a statement that Shantae is big enough to not need to rely on retro appeal to get ahead, so I don't see them going back except as an extra feature, like Mighty Switch Force Hyper Drive Edition.
Former. I don't think they got too much leftover KS budget, but we'll see how things go.
Hopefully so, that plot about Risky making a mechanical moon would make for an ideal bait-and-switch for something else as soon as that plan's foiled.

It is weird that it was entirely unprompted, but he doesn't typically hint at stuff like that. He posts Otter pics when stuff is happening, not outright saying something that could be a major hint.

IDK if that Thunder person's here, but I know a certain someone else who lurks on this thread who can try to help if you're really THAT worried about it.
It's slim but I really would love to see Shantae 5 as a 3D game. Someday I hope we get a 3D Shantae game.
Like Risky going to the moon or everyone's lines having full voice acting. That would be so awesome to see those conspects make it into Shantae 5.

In the effort of accuracy, he has never claimed to have insider information. Tho he did make some really out there "predictions" that later came true. With any luck, maybe Shantae's increased mainstream status will eventually result in WF having enough resources to do full-on 3D games period. Maybe about the same time Kirby gets a 3D platformer that's not a mini-game.

Yeah. MSF mode in HGH is most likely a parallel universe. I wonder if Patricia would order Shantae to have her hair cut in order to follow regulation.
Even so, it would be nice to have interactions between the prime universe Shantae cast and that of MSF. Anything that helps flesh out the characters. So far this is what I can infer of the sisters:
