That's what I've been thinking myself, actually. I wouldn't be shocked if the game starts with Nega-Shantae's accidental return via Uncle Mimic and "Risky's take on the Egg Moon from Sonic X" before the main plot kicks in.
Most likley, there was alot of good stuff there to let it be forgotten to time. I dont think there will be voice acting or cut scenes, but the characters should be more animated during chats, not just their portraits. I do feel like nega shante is going to come back, she got alot more screen time and a personality in hgh, even if it was just "im evil"
They mustve really wanted that nega shantae chapter, that plot synopsis was basically put into the game and friends dlc.
The thing about Nega-Shantae is that she's the exact same as any other corrupted genie, she just gets more screen-time. So her actions and personality speak more about the will of dark magic than herself as a person. If you want to develop her, you have to develop dark magic too, beyond "it's bad". That's why I'd really like there to be a pure form of it that doesn't push one to be evil like Pirate Master used, just more aggressive due to it generally being more offensive than light magic. This would lead Nega-Shantae to be a more natural extension of Shantae's personality (think
), instead of a wholly separate entity like or Dark Link. The old Nega Shantae can still show up as an illusion/memory conjured up by an enemy.Yeah, a Felyne is possible too.

See, I think Risky is actually too scared of going soft to even pretend to be nice. Even when doing good is just a side-effect of pursuing her own goals she's very quick to deny it, almost to "doth protest too much" levels, as seen with her interaction with Giga Mermaid. She's keenly aware of how dark magic, which she uses to enhance herself, can turn into light with sufficient goodwill from others. If she ever does end up growing a taste for helping others, it will come with great turmoil over her identity.
Yeah, a fair point. This won't be a quick and easy fix like for a certain other character who has a habit of fighting a hero with a candy-colored palette scheme.

Yup, and they dont need a whole direct for that. I just see a 5 minute or more video going over it all. 10 minutes at most for stage builder, other modes, joker details, mii costumes, and maybe teaser for next fighter.
