Japan cannot catch a break with the natural disasters lately.
As much as we joke about needing information now, stuff like this always takes precedent, and like amny of you my thoughts go out to Japan right now.
I also want to add I'm really proud to be a part of this thread and these boards, where everyone I've seen so far on this thread has been very understanding and compassionate, and only a handful of other posts on this board seem to be insensitive to the whole thing.

Nintendo probably had some employees in the region and I can't blame them for deciding to delay the Direct.

People who act like scumbags for the delay are heartless. it's really sad what happened in japan, and it's unfortunate that people have lost their lives as well. The direct can wait, while it sucks it was delayed, it's understandable.

So I've been wondering, what are the odds of her being shown as a assist trophy in the future even if they already showed Shovel Knight? Do you think there may be one last pokemon,item and assist trophy montage or...do you think the montages are over?

There will very likely be a final Assist Trophy montage, somewhat likely a final Pokeball Montage, but general items might already be done, since they usually reveal most items at the mid stage.

A week may be a bit long. It really depends on how much devastation or if more comes. Right not I'm thinking a day or 2. Nintendo has time senstivie stuff they need to release. Not just smash, but possible same day launches of games on the e-shop. Also, Best buy did take down that event for smash, because I assume Nintendo meant to announce it during the direct, so they can't delay that too much

Depending on the reason, I could see the direct getting delayed by 2-3 weeks. If things go well I could see next week.
I don't think the weekend will be the date since midweek is usually when directs are launched.
I'm just grateful most people are safe.

AT the latest most likely. The longer they do the delay, the longer if could mess with third party plans, not top mention what is the smash website going to do, and leaks become much more likely

We're at exactly 40 assist trophies and, since they said there would be more than 50, that leaves at least 11 more to show off. There's most definitely going to be another AT montage by December but it probably won't be until the next Smash focused Direct.

Most likely a Scuttle Town stage, with Shantae's friends hanging about in the background. I could see Squid Baron being a stage hazard, rolling back and forth across the stage, or cannon balls being fired from Risky's Ship and hitting players in the foreground.

Well, if I had to consider NoA's post, which happened at midnight, it would have likely been 16 hours ahead, which would translate around to 4 PM JST.

As for whether or not we'll see the Direct this week or next, it's uncertain, although like many have said, I can only see this delay lasting a single week, to be honest.

Personally, I don't care if someone leaks as long as it's under spoiler tags but whatever works for all you. I'd rather not have the eventual reveal trailers be ruined since they tend to be pretty fun.

Mainly showing it to show that we should expect more to come very soon. This is why I don't think Nintendo will wait a week for the new date

Yeah, from a company standpoint, while Nintendo is wise to delay their Direct due to recent events, they should also try to find a suitable time to make sure the potential damage from the leaks are minimized. Which could point towards the Direct being four days later at the absolute minimum to around a week. I know I risk sound unsympathetic saying this, but having their data compromised and leaked is still a highly undesirable scenario to occur.

In the E3 there were a few books that only showed the spine and they were cord that you'd use to create KKR (green, red, Browns, etc). In the last one the spines are red, purple, yellow, brown, and orange I think. Could be fun to speculate. ',: )
I think the chances are huge. If any game creators forget to take off the autopost they may spoil it themselves.

Funny you say that, when the leaks were going around, I was just like "oh, castlevania music? neat", not even thinking about Simon/Richter Belmont. I still had a good experience with it, regardless
