I think Shantae has a very solid chance, but to be honest I'm not expecting her tomorrow. My big hope is that tomorrow we can get saay... Isaac, Skull Kid and Geno (Sun, Moon and Stars) out of the way. Then the last few reveals leading up to release would IMO most likely include the likes of Shantae and Bandana Dee, maybe even Banjo Kazooie, IE the last of the biggest ballot picks (I'm half expecting BK will be DLC though).

Basically I wont be worried for her chances if she doesn't show up tomorrow.

I'll most likely main her, or at the very least make her one of my secondaries. My main issue is that if Isabelle gets officially confirmed I'll have 4 mains (her and ) so having 5 mains might seem weird to other people. If Shantae is incredibly fun to use then I will probably demote to secondary status.

Either way, I plan to use Shantae a lot if she gets in.

Indeed. Once a character's in, no need to ask for them again, even if they're absent from an installment, so it's a total victory no matter which way you slice it.

Although I wanted Ashley more than Shantae, there is FAR more evidence showing Shantae's inclusion than Ashley ever had. Ashley only had evidence supporting that she COULD be in smash. Shantae has evidence that she actually IS in Smash.

The badge arcade bunny only vaguely hinted at Crossovers. While Jammies mode more bluntly hints at not only Smash but Specifically Smash Ultimate. It is just so weird to me that WayForward would hint at Shantae in Smash Jammies mode that was released in the heat of Smash Speculation season but not even mention Shantae in Smash or even Smash at all on twitter.

Not to mention when asked about shantae in any other Game like Blade Strangers or a Fifth Shantae game the Answer is "we have nothing to announce at the moment." But when asked about Smash the answer is always .......

I would definitely play mostly Shantae for quite a while if she gets announced, although the way things are shaping up there are gonna be a lot of cool characters to try no matter what happens
