Just found out Smash Melee is beating Ultra Street Fighter 4 in registration numbers. Who would have thought it would ever happen. I guess Smash will be the most watched event at Shadowloo Showdown. If we break streaming records(by that I mean being the most viewed game at Shadowloo Showdown), it'll be even better.

Train hard, and give it your all, whoever it may be. Asking for easier opponents should be frowned upon.
Want fair opponents? Play some friendlies, or even MMs.

Actually I tend to find you're always surprising yourself when you're going to majors. You guys will find something that you surprised peeps on and you'll be full of pride for the rest of the tournament. It's not necessarily the most helpful feeling in terms of immediate concerns of getting better but in the long run it improves self-esteem and that drives you to keep pushing yourself from my experience. 1ampercent is right; train your hardest and you'll be sure to achieve and surprise yourself somewhere along the way.

And if you come last, don't worry, focus, get some advice from top players and you'll improve heaps by next time.

I wouldn't worry too much anyway you guys, if you're OoS the pools tend to be seeded so that you have a higher chance of making it into bracket. Could be different this time but even so, with so many entrants, quite a few peeps who wouldn't have thought now that they'd make it into bracket most likely will... so yeah, hype it up!

It's actually pretty funny the way things turned out.

Getting an appearance last year at SS was a massive pain in the arse. But now, it's hard to imagine their event without us...
