I'm partial to rap/hip hop, but I'm definitely open to any genre of music that would fit with the overall feel of the video. Kinda like Scar did with his IKMII, going with rock, pop, techno. SCII appealed to people when I went with an anime OST. Most of the people watching these videos are quite partial to techno and popular anime themes based off of comments from all of my videos.

Lol yeah Silent Hill has many solid dark beats. Great, atmospheric stuff.

Good suggestions, KAOS. As much as I like most of these songs, I haven't found any that really struck me yet. As I was telling Seandadon, I want something dark and upbeat. If there are lyrics, I don't want them to supersede the instrumentals and distract from the video. The example of the vibe I'm looking for is DMX - Damien or Current Value - Dark Rain, but in the case of DMX's song, the focus is on the story and the other song only has a couple of strong portions.

Edit: I just ran across this site like 5 minutes ago. I listened to the first "Epic beat" and I liked it. Its dark, but ideally maybe too methodical, not much change.

Alot of these seem to be "beats" and I dont know how well they would go with live **** m2 action since they dont change very much. I feel alot of black, but I dont know about the purple.

I understand if it doesn't have general appeal, though.
