I keep getting told my Falcon is fail whenever my Sonic wins the MU.
But my Sonic is fail when Falcon overcomes the MU.
WTF?
You can prob. guess why i keep switching mains, but someone help, this is getting ********.

That's pretty normal. Lots of players have secondaries to overcome particular mathchup(s).

Alot of it is general player stuff.

Like, when someone's FH height above you, do you go up there immediately and try to hit them? Do you jump with the intent of attacking, or with the intent of punishing an airdodge? Do you stand under them waiting to shield/powershield, or do you run away to make them feel safe, just to DDP back if they land?

When you run at someone, do you SH F-air as soon as you get to them? Do you shieldgrab? Do you run behind and B-air/attack backwards, knowing they might let their guard down if you don't immediately attack?

None of that is really specific to Sonic at all. Sonic just lends you the run speed and a different and (for direct attacks) slow/low priority moveset.

Also, if you choose another character, all that stuff remains the same. As Falcon or Ike, I'll run behind and pivot grab someone's spotdodge (lol, though, Sonic needs to side-B reverse or he grabs too early). With Falcon, you can land knees if you read an airdodge as you're jumping.

The main difference is that with better characters (ex Marth, for example), you are given either better combo/juggle opportunities, frame traps, walls, etc.

But you still have to use them right and still play smart.

By dropped i mean i'm not going to be using him online anymore, it's just too hard for me predict EVERYTHING my opponent is going to do, before they do it.
I'm still going to go for one of state best Sonics though, i haven't given up on the Steak ^.^
