now the one thing i'm curious about is if sonic's down B stayed the same. spin dash, hming attack and eenhis up b were altered in some way i'm wondering what became of his down B? If it was changed i wonder why sakurai didn't mention it as it would be a pretty drastic change although it probably wasn't changed at all besides the speed boost that SD recieved. I'm excited to see how far we can take sonic in smash 4.

Edit: Watched it. Sonic is gonna be so sick. There's quite a few characters I wanna play. Can't wait to try Greninja too. Seems like my type of character.

Bair comes out at like Frame 5, Uair is even faster, Side B goes at Mach II, Dair is a Spike and side-taunt canceling into Spring is a thing.

Is it Summer yet?

I can feel the haters lining up now when they moan and groan about sonic's buffs being too much for his characters although that couldn't be farther from the truth. But overall every move i think for sonic was reanimated in some way. even his idle pose was reanimated. Homing attack very strong now and he seems to rise twice as high with less landing cooldown. Too bad we didn't get to see Spin Charge as i'm curious to see what they did to it. Unless sonic got a new down B or is going to get one but it wasn't ready yet or sakurai simply overlooked it though thats unlikely.

That Greninja reveal came the **** outta nowhere for me. Never would've guessed that. Charizard flying solo is kinda dope. He deserves it.

also sonic's spring seems to continue to fall even after it hits someone. marth got hit by it after the dair spike.

Also i guess jab resets from melee are back as in the part where they show off the fire bar mario hits link during his bouncing state that would normally result in a jab lock but link gets up immediately, guess we get to mess around with that now.

So I picked up Project M like 5 days ago. It's fun. I have no idea what I'm doing with Sonic though. Anyone mess around with PM's Sonic?

I haven't checked the Smash 4 boards either because I feel like people who've used Sonic competitively in Brawl and have found out ATs n stuff would be found here. These people (You guys) would care more about the character and be able to pick apart somewhat subtle differences from Smash 4s Sonic's screenshots/videos and explain stuff idk. Just a thought

and I think I'm gonna try to come to tournaments this summer, I know I said I was going to come back to tourneys earlier and _Quest_ posted which ones I should attend but now I have some people nearby where I live that play Smash somewhat competitively so I'm more motivated now lol.

I've never played Project M so I have no clue about how Sonic plays in it :/

@ Trent - To play Sonic in PM, you pick up the controller and realize his spindashes feel like ass and can't be shield canceled then you ask yourself why you're playing PM and then go to either Melee or Brawl.

I just don't find Brawl fun any more though, and Sonic's not in Melee. PM IS MY ONLY ALTERNATIVE UNTIL SMASH 4!

EDIT - Also, Brawl is dead in my region.

You could always play brawl DX sonic he should feel a lot more familar to you than PM sonic (granted Brawl DX is atm an under the radar mod im hoping to get more people playing it). But as for PM sonic just use down b, side b and fair and you should win most of the time. I still laugh a bit when people cant tell the difference between sonics homing attack and his nair

EDIT - Also SoupaSonic you should try making it to a RI tourney so we can do some sonic friendlies. Theres one coming up the 26th here that were trying to get a good turnout for
