sigh...doubt i can make it to this one
F***********k yeah.

I'm there.

Whoops, had to edit my post. Don't want this to count as one of the infractions that leads towards my ban 5 weeks later when I completely forgot about it and made another infraction-worthy post.

The cheesecake was amazing.

I'm also down for brownies and/or cookies and/or chocolate chip cookie brownies.

I guess we can try to use both, those who have a PS3 will play on the PS3 ofcourse and same goes for the XBox, if you dont have a stick then you can bring a control
The problem with this is... what if someone with a 360 stick gets matched up against someone with a ps3 stick? How are they going to play each other? People don't like sharing their sticks with strangers because they are pretty expensive. If you can't run your tournament with the right equipment, it won't be legitimate, successful or fun for the entrants involved. You (or DSF) should just prepare to have a SF 4 tourney for the next SCSA after you have your logistics sorted out.

I want a stick. Which one should I buy? I want one that works for xbox360 and wii :/
Good sticks are Hori sticks, the Street Fighter 4 stick and the Street Fighter 4 tournament edition stick. In regards to multiple system compatibility, your options are very limited. Most good sticks are exclusive to one system, and sometimes the ones with usb connectors also work with pc. So you can:

-Buy a stick for one system and have a connector added for the other system (custom mod, **** if I know how its done)
-Buy a custom stick with connectors for both systems
-Buy a stick for each system

Your best option is probably a custom stick, but those are pretty expensive, especially when you ask for multiple system connectors.

Looked into this, prices are 300+ as far as I can tell.

"-Buy a custom stick with connectors for both systems"

Don't think it exists.

"-Buy a stick for each system"

I don't think I love TvC enough to buy a stick. Hmm....

best custom stick maker i know is byrdo
idk google it
but if you want a custom stick youre looking at 200-300 or more
imo just pick 1 system and buy a ~$50 stick
sf4 will be bigger than tvc though

Yeah I think I'm just gonna buy a hori or sf4 stick for the 360 and play TvC with the classic controller.

High level TvC play is ****ing amazing to watch. And yeah SF4 is more popular/more people have it than TvC.

If only, IF ONLY that game was released in the US, I'd be playing that instead of SF4 (yeah, I said it >_<)

I know a few others that do but I just don't want to waste time getting good at it since the competition here in the States isn't going to be that big. They announced the game as one of the line ups for Evo but it has a cap I believe =\

Hori sticks are good but Like mio said custom sticks are good too. it's possible to build your own stick but i believe it's going to cost alil more then if you just buy one
