Hey guys I havent been on here in awhile but DSF and I are trying to include Street Fighter 4 in his tourneys. The game just came out but Street Fighter has always been a great competitive, now the reason why Im posting this is because we want to see how many people would like to enter this.
SCSA is a Circuit for all competitive fighting games so DSF and I wanna see how many people would be interested in this as well.
Just post a comment letting us know you would be interested, then DSF and I will see what we can do for this tournament.

Which makes me wonder, how will an SF4 tourney work? Im pretty sure there wont be a cabinet, so it will be either on PS3 or Xbox, both of which suck to play with a controller (xbox moreso) so whats gonna happen? Lets say I have a PS3 arcade stick and its an xbox SF4 tourney, wtf do i do?

Please elaborate

Although a USB connector is used for both systems, your PS3 stick will not work on a 360 and your 360 stick will not work on a PS3. The manufacturers have made sure of this.

Console fighting game tournaments run exactly how smash does: BYOC. Normally console tournaments announce the system very far in advance so that the players have plenty of time to find a stick to use. But since it's in like 10 days, your best option for a successful tourney is:

-Have at least one ps3 and one 360 station
-Have two sticks for ps3 and two sticks for 360 so that people can use them if they don't have the right controller.

It's a pain in the ***, and that's why people don't typically run console tournaments.

I guess we can try to use both, those who have a PS3 will play on the PS3 ofcourse and same goes for the XBox, if you dont have a stick then you can bring a control
Oh and I know it says SMASH Allegiance but even DSF wants to include it at his tourneys because ST$ is going to be big.

ya the console stick compatibility would be the biggest problems
maybe just a friendlies tv this time around
i'm only interested to come for melee

Seriously, if you want to hold a SF4 tourney, hold a SF4 ONLY tourney some other time. I'm sure it will have a huge turn out on it's own.

Ok what I dont get...ALEX AS IN DSF IS GOING TO INCLUDE THE **** GAME IN HIS TOURNEY!!!!!!!
Im just helping him run it cuz if he includes another game on his tourney is gonna be hard running three things on at once.
People would come, already alot of smashers would come to it and many outsiders.
As you all know I dont have the time to be running a tournament due to my job, and new living.
Im merely taking a day off the month to help out Alex.
