actually it's a relatively dumb thing to do, but if you use max repels all it takes is time, and every step is 1 exp going to that magikarp you kept in daycare since the 3rd hour of the game.

theyre hardly difficult to get
so i wouldve either killed it for xp or let it rot in a box
idk if i want scyther to learn cut or not so better safe than sorry
