Ah dammit. I know the summer session kids moved out but the school year RA's moved in. They must have some kind of training going on in the lodge :/ let us know what happens.

Is anyone still there? haha.

Anyway, other than tomorrow, I might be hanging out in the Lodge from 5 p.m. and on for about two hours for the rest of the week. I'm up for playing if anyone can do it then. This is if the Lodge is even available, of course.

I'll make sure to post and indicate whether or not I will actually be there.

Good games today.

I like your Ganondorf, Pat.

I'm down to play any day you're free Jesse. Hit me up. If not at the lodge we could find an alternative. I'm sure we can work something out.

I can play basically any day until 6pm, I can even bring a TV if necessary. Just post here ahead of time, and I'll probably show up.

The laundry room seemed to work pretty well for a small number of people. Who has the TV that used to be stored at the Lodge?

Hey guys,

I'm a recent Cal grad working down here in san diego now. A friend of mine i used to play with a lot (wayland if any of you know him) pointed me to this thread (which dates all the way back to 2005, intense). Anyways, I live in la jolla so I am very down to play whenever. In fact, by any chance would anyone be down to play today? :D

oh and ignore the completely new user thing. used to have an account maybe back in 2006ish but completely forgot the sn/pw

Hey guys, what was the name of that place we went to to eat chicken on that day where he had that all nighter smashfest? BBQ Chicken? I've been craving that chicken for a bit haha. Also, does anyone know the name of that chicken that was sweet but yet really spicy?

thanks =p

BBQ Chicken in Convoy, Clairemont Mesa. The chicken that was sweet and spicy was most likely the extra spicy chicken. Also favorited are the BB wings and Teri-Q wings. To think that SD smashers doubted me about this legendary Korean chicken joint.

Oh and the last person that refused to go (PNOY) got into a devastating car accident for not going. Moral of the story, go to BBQ chicken otherwise you'll get *****.

Saw this post too late for today =/

If you've got a car and are willing to drive over to my place (I live a little South of the 56, about 5-10 minutes North of La Jolla) tomorrow afternoon, I'd be down.

this is actually really convenient. I work at intuit which is right off the 56, so i probably drive past your place every day. what time would work for you tomorrow? and you definitely can't play today?

if you have a set up and are looking for a place to play in la jolla, i have a decent sized CRT at my place that would work perfectly (someone would have to bring a setup though). For that matter, if anyone has a setup and is looking to play around la jolla/utc, let me know. I live right next to costa verde/westfield and i'm pretty much always down (except thursday, friday, saturday nights)

I can play 'till 6pm, if you want to swing by for an hour. I'm a college kid on break, and I've been doing my best to convince my parents that I am responsible and do not play video games in excess while at school. >_>"

I'll PM you my address/info/details.

Speaking of Korean food in San Diego, what ever happeled to Kalbi-Q? that Korea-Mexican fusion food truck that used to park near UTC?

I haven't touched smash since I exiled myself to Canada in order to reach my goal of peak physical fitness.

I'm getting closer to Captain Falcon. Still mostly Ganondorf, but I'm losing that chubb.

I will be without a set-up. :(

Edit:

Work might be going a little late today so I'm not sure what's going to happennnnnnnnn.

Hope to play on Friday though!
