San Diego Lovin' - Triweekly XXXII - December 1st

Do we at least know which campus the venue will be on?
Also, my school, Escondido Charter High School, is having a building added to the campus that should be finshed before October, I believe. It is a gym/auditorium/stage that is HUGE, and the enire faculty is quite excited about it, especially the drama teacher. I know that it is a very expensive project, (it has been under construction for over two years) and it's supposed to boast a very complex lighting system and sound equipment. Why am I mentioning this? Well, I guess that this is going to be one of the best theaters in (I forget what, but I think San Diego County), so apparently, it's going to be more than the school's. They plan on renting it out, and foresee that it will be a commonly rented facility once it's completed. It would be ideal for local concerts and similar events. Would they rent it for a smashfest or tournament? I can't honestly say right now, but it sounds promising for a future consistent SD venue. I wouldn't know what the charge would be though, but maybe an ex-student could get a discount. :]

If they do rent it out, it won't be at a rate we can afford from the sound of it.

Hey guys, my friend, a recent RA down at SDSU might be able to snag a free venue in his lodge every two months or so. We're trying to work out the logistics and such, but I'll keep you guys informed <3 <3 <3

For sure just tell me what your schedule is like and we can figure something out. Thursdays and Fridays are the best during the week for me, and weekends should be fine as well. I'm in UT (University Towers) which is like on the far southwest of campus so I can come to you if necessary.

Hey guys I live in san diego and I've been in the smash scene for a while now. I play with all my friends and they say I'm pretty good. I can beat 3 level 9s at once on a team against me, and I can wavedash about 70% of the time.

I'd like to play with you guys sometime :)

I can't tell if this is a joke post or not, lol. In case this isn't, you should know that computers don't prove ****.

But if you wanna smash with us, feel free to show up the next time something is announced on the boards. =P

Pat I wouldn't take him so lightly, neither you nor I can take 3 level 9's... ON THE SAME TEAM! It's quite the feat to out think one computer, let alone 3. Keep in mind all while wavedashing 70% of the time. I'd think twice before you underestimate new comers.

Jack I'm just messin', welcome to the scene. You'll find that most of San Diego is very friendly, and almost always up for smash. Just stick around and things'll come up. In fact, school at UCSD starts for me in a month (September 27th) so the tri-weeklies at the Sixth College lounge will be making a triumphant return. Huzzah!

on MWF i'm done at around 11:30
on TTH i'm done at 1:45
so anytime after those two times i'm pretty much open and i'm down for going to your place unless you can drive like 20 mins away from your place ahha

Thursdays and Fridays are the easiest days for me. The times for those days work great. I don't have a car so I guess it would be easiest if you came over here.
