It's something different and much more challenging than the other games, it won't win but it deserves to imo. Every other game is rehashed...good but rehashed.

things I love about battlefield 3

Peppering a sniper nest with a machine gun that shoots grenades.

Running up to a tank and sticking it with c-4

Killing the helpless pilot while hes parachuting after his plane is shot down

Hiding behind a friendly tank and continuously repairing it while it battles anothet tank

On another note, I just found some neat stuff on RC, kinda wish it wasn't going to be banned for APEX, it feels like it's probably better for Sonic than even YI lol.

I can think of why RC can be good for Sonic, but also why it's bad. Since Sonic is mobile and shiz, that's cool. But doesn't Sonic's mindgames and stuff require him returning to the ground a lot, and that would be pretty limited on RC with platform game.

Lol @ Catherine winning GOTY. It's good, just not great.

It's definitely not GOTY compared to Arkham or Uncharted, but it's certainly better than good.

From a storytelling standpoint, and using gameplay as a medium for story, it's the best bar none.

The only game I played with more style this year was Batman, but that's because the game is a comic book in terms of presentation.

But what's the cutoff date for GOTY? Skyrim should take it in terms of total experience, but action games tend to get a nod in the category.

Waiting for MW3 and Zelda to launch, and considering buying a new 3DS game. Maybe.
