On the news they were saying salmonella has been found in peanut butter. They aren't completely sure of the source yet, so stay away from peanut butter for the time being. They said about 500 people in the US have gotten it so far.

Someone told me the danger is mainly in hospitals and schools but I still wouldn't take my chances.

First time I heard of this, I just imagined opening up a new jar of peanut butter and finding an uncooked chicken wing inside.

my peanut butter is 4 months old, so I'm good

I did have some Reese's, but I haven't heard anything suggesting they could be contaminated

I purposely covered my finger in peanut butter and licked it clean. If I die, tell SSBM that I love it... And tell SSBB..."Hello".

If you saw this on Fox News, it's not legit.

I just had a peanut butter sandwich. It's cool though, we had already eaten half of the jar.

Ugh, I'm not feeling so well. . .

As long as Reese's are not contaminated, i'll live through it.
If they are, well, guess it was my time (I cant stop eating these things!)
I feel rather certain that there is no actual peanut butter in Reese's peanut butter cups. You're good.

Haha! Here in India there is no salmonella in our peanut butter!
It's located in the water, tomatoes, lettuce, corn, air, eggs, snails, eggs, steaks, all meat, milk, chocolate, chocolate milk, chocolate milk with corn, and even the eggs.
But at least its not in our peanut butter!

I miss the U.S :(

It's all artificially flavored, time to put on the carbs, M I RITE?

You know what Mr. Krabs said: "What doesn't kill you.. usually succeeds in a second attempt."
"Can I lose my cool now?" *points to dead health inspector*

So, the major peanut butter brands have been cleared, that's good. I don't eat crackers with cheese or peanut butter inside, it's all artificial (read the labels). It seems that natural peanut butter products are good to go, but the others are in trouble.
