well with that information

If it was so easy, wouldn't u have beaten someone who's played about 4 hours of brawl in 1 1/2 years?

derp
I was talking about Melee :p

This has just gotten ridiculous. You guys are now arguing semantics that are so far removed form the actual point you were trying to make. Knock it off, drop it and move on.
I didn't even know you came here Mic :p

(why wasn't Halberd banned?)

I always ban Halberd now lol. (if only because I have no other stage to ban)

heh

Anywaaaaay.

We need to start recording matches from SG and Valhalla.
(like that match on Picto which pretty much proves that it should be banned...)

After a bit of consideration, I will hold off banning wobbling, and ask that every person who supports it being legal tells me directly either on here, or at Streetgeek (and if SG ban it, I have no say in the matter).
Directly means that person, not someone else speaking for them.
I would host a poll but it's essentially useless given the size of the scene and inactivity of some members.
Despite some incorrect suggestions, I neither support or reject it - I'm sure I've made this known before.
If it gets enough support (say, all 5 of the people that have been claimed to support it, the more the better), it'll be left alone.
I cannot promise the same for Reloaded, however, that'll likely be discussed again depending on how much interstate interest there is and who it is.
Grim and Ghost do not need to tell me they support it.

Regarding anything Brawl related: The ledge grab limit will only ever apply to MK and I have absolutely no issue with playing "gay" on either game, using high tiers only, etc, since it's very often how people win, and has been for ages.
I spoke with Chris ages ago regarding it and we both agreed that it's likely to be restricted in the future (LGL); neither of us got around to doing anything about it.

In regards to wobbling, why not issue a percentage limit per use of the move. For example, each time wobbling is used, it can only be allowed to deal 30 ~ 35% and then a release of any form. However, I'm no expert on the subject so I might not be aware of any bad chaingrabs Ice Climbers can use with wobbling or whether its a bad idea in general.

Yea they can wobble, then close to the edge they would f-throw chaingrab or something, and then with your rule they would be able to wobble again.
So it wouldn't really have much effect >.>

Grim can correct me if I'm wrong.

Basically it'd be like limiting D3 in brawl to 5 standing d-throws against DK.

Then he just short steps one and does 5 more >.>

Well, D-Throw D-Air is technically esapable, but considering the amount of options I have, the opponent would probably DI it wrong (because I could do a grab release, a hand-off, jab > re-grab, smash > re-grab, etc...)

A % based limit (excluding the stalling one) on infinites is flooded with issues so it'll never be something that's actually widely enforced.

Although when Brawl was first released ICies on that couldn't exceed 5 chain grabs in a row (something that was still in the Reloaded rules until I changed it last year).
I highly doubt that's still a rule anywhere and although it's on a different game it's pretty similar.
But again that's highly unlikely it'll ever be endorsed again.

This is why tech chasing into regrabs is a billion times more satisfying.
Although someone did call me a cheater at the Reloaded last January for doing that, lol.

Valhalla will now be running less frequently and centred around the school holiday periods, because of this we can expect bigger competitions with bigger prize pots =D

The april val I think is the last one before the big Reloaded event in July.

Date updated.
July 15-17th is Reloaded.
The day smash is held isn't announced yet, it probably will be after the next Valhalla.

Edit: Should also note, the next Valhalla falls between the Melbourne Major and Easter.

Matt, I would strongly suggest going to Reloaded instead.
Our events without interstate attendance (Reloaded probably will) are unfortunately very small compared to other states, QLD included (I think) lol.

But if you don't care about any of that, I can house anyone.

If Jaice and I can come to this, can we get housing. Happy to pay our way :)

Also Chris, have you got your control in the post yet?
I can house, but you'd probably prefer to stay with someone you know better like Chris or Shaun :)
