If you're going by popularity do what AVCon does and add items and random stages to brawl.....

Casuals like that more and like 95% of brawl owners are casual players.

The reason you don't (and never have) ran Valhalla is soley because of inexperience and blind mans logic, which doesn't apply here.

Edit: In order to keep an actual scene of competitive players on a video game does mean popularity is dipped into.
I don't care about pleasing a minority (which are often the loudest). lul

And I have ran Valhalla before actually, I received lots of positive feedback, that one where Hybrid won.

My decision actually is more popular with people in SA, considering there are about 3 regulars who support Wobbling and 1 (you) who doesn't.

I do have another suggestion though: If the changes give you such stomache cramps and waste boxes of tissues, then simply don't show up. Now that's how to be a true rebel! ^_^

AVCon gets 256 entrants.

That's quite a bit more popular.

And if you're only referring to the regular SA tournament entrants as the scene, then having wobbling legal is more popular than not legal.

Though it's not like you'll listen to reason, I guess I'll just have to live with your Wobbling ban. Though I think that if I am in control of the bracket, I might accidentally forget that Wobbling is banned and count wins/losses caused by it anyway. If someone complains about it, I might momentarily forget what Wobbling looks like and be unable to penalize players for it.

Wouldn't that be a shame.

I hope I don't accidentally let my Val user/pass slip while talking to Ghost and W150, otherwise they would be able to set up the tourney in my name before I even get there!

Up until Ghost and Grim came onto the scene we never had to start introducing all these extra rules as for half a decade most Adelaide players have played respectfully, honestly and not tried to expliot every rule or lack of rules.

YOU guys are the ones forcing us to do this while not gaining any respect, being thought of as d heads etc for the way you guys are playing and acting.

After playing one of you guys someone said well if thats the way people play here im not gonna bother coming back. Nice going in helping the scene guys. Maybe we'd be better off without you two........

You may think it is impossible to argue with people that have different opinions to you, that's fine.

I, on the other hand, find it impossible to argue with people who completely ignore what I am saying, refuse to give logical reasons for their opinions and resort to personal attacks.

This is the way I work when it comes to debating:
1. Gather information about the world around me.
2. Analyze that information objectively.
3. Use that information in unison with the totality of my knowledge and a coherent philosophy to develop an outlook designed around objective facts and my own subjective, but rational and well founded, concept of "good".

Where as Nova and yourself seem to be using this method:
1. Immediately form an opinion for emotional reasons and subconscious reasons that you cannot articulate.
2. Search for reasons to justify what you chose to believe before any analysis.
3. Get angry and/or offended if challenged on your beliefs. Only engage in civil discussion with people who either agree with you or at the very least concede ridiculous things that are effectively conceding the entire argument.

Being able to win is being good, Grim's doing everything he can within the game to win.

It's just scrubby to say he's not respectful, or that he's exploiting the game or whatever.
He's playing to win.

Every strategy is exploiting the game, you don't hear people whine (seriously) about how Nova shouldn't use Snake's up-tilt to win, or that you shouldn't glide toss with ROB because it's cheap.


If you guys suddenly legalized temple you can't expect players to not circle camp, same thing applies with anything else legal. You can't expect players not to play to win, especially in a tournament.

Edit: And stop bringing our age or whatever into everything, we provide logical arguments, and all you guys do is ignore them, and not listen to us.
