I like the way that Smarg has done nothing to respond to the reasons posted to lynch Cello over Ran. Isn't trying to prove that Ran is scum with anything other than, "I'm town, lynch Ran." And is only attacking my "arrogance." Fairly certain that the reasons I posted didn't include "Oh, and I get high on myself."

There was discussion yesterday. An action was decided on. Now that scum have what they want - the voyeur on the guillotine - scum are backing off the gambit. We need to take action before then.

Now, I'm going to bed after I post this, and then I'll be on again once tomorrow, and then completely offline for a while. Don't expect me to respond to stuff tonight.

Fine, to respond to the ninjas - Ran's play today - backing off the "Lynch 'em both" - is precisely why I wanted you to lynch him first. His failclaim proves he's scum. Cello could be town. Ran is definitely scum.

Let's put it this way - there is no risk in lynching Ran. There is risk in lynching Cello. I personally don't care for unnecessary risks.

and one last ninja - at this point, discussion only gives scum the advantage by letting you/j try to convince us not to vote you. We can't look for a buddy because the town doesn't know which of ran/me is scum, so there is no scumhunting to do today - you need to see my flip before you can do that. There are two options that don't guarantee a town loss at this point - lynching Ran (100% certainty of catching scum) or lynching someone else (<100% certainty of lynching scum).

*okay so you know Smarg's scum and I know smarg's scum and Ran knows smarg is scum however everyone else doesn't know Smarg is scum. I mean it's really really obvious at this point but we gotta think long term here. Maybe we should comply with what town wants, when Smarg gets flipped as scum we still have Ran and his vote on the Guillotine to do whatever we need him to do. It is also a back-up plan if we do end up being wrong in the slight occassion. If we want town to listen to the two of now we have to give a little to get a little. Ya know, put out? Hey, sorry was on a train. Well if I was Cello, I would be freaking out right now and trying to convince everyone to just lynch someone else toDay, and live Day by Day. Which is pretty much what has been doing all Day, every Day.

Why would you have liked to go into the day with both Cello/Ran on their toes? Why not state my views? I mean I am still hiding some cards but *shrug* that's how you play. Why are you only stating me but say J/Ryker? Why only can Ran convince you? I've had others convince me in the past of someone's scumminess. Why being so much like stone?

I wanted to keep Ran and Cello both on their toes and both scum-hunting. Ironically, the person who I worried about becoming complacent in light of yesterDay’s discussion (Ran) has been scum-hunting and the person who should be scum-hunting is just…idk even what Cello is doing, striving for self-preservation mostly. I wanted you to answer first, because I wanted to see your opinion more than I wanted to see Ryker’s since he is clear town. Ran can only convince me by what he has done toDay, although your case in favor of him is good because it highlights his actions toDay with very little of your own analysis, and his actions toDay speak very well for himself, and in a town manner. Not intentionally trying to be like stone, just I like information, I want Ran’s and Cello’s actions to speak for themselves, which I feel they are doing toDay.

THERE SHOULD BE NO DISCUSSION. We decided on a course of action yesterday, you need to follow through with it to ensure town doesn't lose. And yeah, I don't want people listening to J/Ryker/Ran - 2/3 are scum, one is clear but playing to his ego not to the best interests of town.

I find this passage really amusing. Telling us there should be no discussion is a very unsettling stance. The fact of the matter is that J has been talked about as possibly shutting down conversations, but nothing as blatant as this, or Cello trying to convince us a 24 hour Day is best. So you are saying J/Ran are scum yes? Because Joey confirmed Ryker before his death, so you must be inferring J/Ran scum.

Well, here’s the way I look at it. Cello hasn’t posted a damn thing of use toDay. He asked us to lynch him toDay yesterDay if Ran was lynched, but is unwilling to do so toDay when Smarg is on the chopping block. He ignored Smarg’s argument about Smarg/Ran back-to-back lynches until it was advantageous to bring it up. And Smarg has been hella scummy in her own right, and Cello in his own right; it seems near impossible neither of them will flip scum.

If Smarg flips scum and we lynch Cello, this is a really really good position. This is our player list:

Smarg (scum)
Cello (guillotine, vt or scum)
[July (I know I’m vt)
Ran (Confirmed voyeur/town)
Ryker (Confirmed town via Reporter)
KevinM (Confirmed town via voyeur)
J (I’m willing to bet is town if Smarg flips scum)
Swords (either vt or scum)

Obviously the push tomorrow should be for Swords/me (because on everyone else’s list I would be orange), and this makes me feel pretty damn good about catching scum, or at least having the last on one the guillotine by the end of toMorrow if we go Cello>Swords. I’m willing to take the risk that Smarg is scum. Gord actively sought to help town after his lynch, and Ran has been scum-hunting despite being pretty much cleared by J/Ryker. Smarg didn’t contribute much before her lynch and will only contribute the same mantra to lynch Ran and Ran/J scum until her spot on the guillotine is taken. Not as sure about Cello, but scum Smarg=> Cello or Swords scum, so those chances in combination with that Cello’s own erratic behavior toDay are a really really good shot.

I realize this situation means I was wrong about J (If J & Smarg= scum then that’s extremely well done lol but I don’t believe that), but that is a very good thing for town, and this situation gives us a lot of room to breathe in terms of where to go after a Cello lynch, considering Swords and I are the only practical suspects from there.

You mean why I think J would be town if Smarg flips scum? When I looked back at J's interactions, the one thing I very heavily took away from it was that J and Smarg did not seem to have outside interactions, their interactions are very conflictual, and if one flipped scum it is very unlikely that the other would flip scum as well. Smarg is looking mad scummy right now, and really wants you and J gone, you for understandable reasons from her pov but the J push is not very well articulated, and it just reinforces my belief that they are not scum together. Smarg scum=/= J scum imo.

Yeah Cello is playing really off too. Smarg has been the same way all game. She thought it was ok to Wagon, and even she thought it was for Cello to wagon to fish for reactions.

Also think of it like this, she cannot be my partner because there was a cc.

Yet I don't know why Cello is playing this way, it's like he is giving up for town if he was town. (Why would he do this? I will beat Cello with a stick for doing this)

@Ran: Her first major accusations of J came after my case and pretty much just encompassed parts of my case but with the quotes actually there. Today there have been only quick jabs like one of Ran/J/Ryker is scum inferring Ran/J scum team, and I would think Smarg is trying to set J and you because its easy for her to do so rather than because she is actually scum-hunting.
