1) Ridley will be a PC - 88%. I can see it not happening, but I doubt it.
2) Zamus is playable a way other than Samus's FS - 75%
3) Dark Samus will be a PC - 15%... what reason would it have over Ridley?
4) Rundus will be a PC - 5%. Even less.
5) One of the hunters will be playable - 4%.
6) More than one of the hunters will be playable - 1%
7) There will be 3 or more Metroid PCs (not including Zamus) - 30% or so.
8) There will be 4 or more Metroid PCs (not including Zamus) 5%. There are very few possible candidates and I doubt Sakurai will expand such a lot on already repped franchises...
9) Kraid will be an AT - 70%. He was already in Melee, he could be fun and easily implemented.
10) Mother Brain will be an AT - 40%. She(it?) is more important, but seems to have less potential, and... giant brains scare kids.

Note that most of that is really uneducated since I never really played Metroid.. =/

1. 99.9% see colbusman's reason.
2. 60% if items are banned from tourneys, then so would zzs. i have a feeling you can start as her.
3. 50% could easily have an original move set, and sakurai stated he wanted more metroid characters. but under no circumstances, will he be in over ridley.
4. 1% i doubt it
5. a hunter? nahh. 5%
6. more hunters? no. 0%
7. 56% since ridley is guaranteed in my mind, it is based off of dark samus plus the rest's chances.
8. Kraid, 30%. i think he will stay a stage hazard
9. Mother Brain. 10% it is hard to see this working, most likely it will appear in the background, as a stage hazard of some sort.

1) 90%- one of most requested characters for smash
2) 50%- could go either way on this one
3) 60%- would be very interesting addition, but has competition with ridley and limited slot space
4) 5%- extremely new character and has to compete with DS and Ridley
5) 5%- same as NO.4
6) 0%- as AT's , i could see mroe then one, but it would be a waste to make them PC
7) 80%- seeing as how ridley is most likely in and how DS is a close second i could see it happening, or i at least hope it happens
8) 5%- i think 3 is more than enough for the metroid series
9) 50%- i think he would make an awsueme AT and i could also see him making a return as a stage guy
10) 60%- would be very interesting

2) 50% I believe that they would not go through all the trouble to make Samus just to meet a somewhat slim critera, but who knows?
3) 25% but I'm not qualified to answer, seeing as I have yet to play Echoes
4) 5% from what I've seen, the chances are not good, but who knows?
5) 10% Again, but this time with slightly more of a chance
6) 0% no way. Too many characters from one game is... a little over the top.
7) 48.75%
8) 2.8125%
9) 50% I dunno if he's a stage or AT but I'm definite it's one

Alright well I did it, unfortunately half of them aren't very accurate probably. A "Hunter" always sounds cool though I don't think any other character is very.. consistent in Metroid.

Oh, and do you guys think a Morph Ball power up would make a good item? If you grab it, your crawl automatically becomes a Morph Ball...

Alas, I have phailed thee. I drew a picture of Ridley on MS paint. He had his thumb up. Then I took that to Photoshop and put it up and colored it. I wrote text saying "RIDLEY, cleansing the galaxy one noob at a time." Then I had a grassy field as a background with a sprite of a guys on fire in the middle of the meadow. But sadly, I can't seem to get it to animate, so it won't be used for the art contest, but simply something to laugh at for a few seconds after I finish it. Oh well.
