Overcome all boundaries! If you want to win then you have to technically destroy everyone in your way yes? So bracket johns is bull****, if you lose to anyone in a set then you don't deserve to win, simple as that.

Alu - You got me down for a Full Set Up, but only for day 1, since I'm only planning on attending day 1 unless I make it out of pools, but this is merely just a fun appearance by me since I haven't been playing in a long time. I'm trying to get as many AvalanchE members to attend as well

Well if Me and No cash have no back ups, we'll probably team just to have the experience of teams. :p

I might be teaming with Shy Guy for this and MAD though. : D So we'll see.

not that anyone will care too much, but it's looking bleak for my chances to make it to this. I'll have to see but IF the sky is falling (meaning anyone was actually hoping I'd be there lol) I might be able to arrange something...

Team with a ****tier player and learn to **** around them, you'll do better.
Anyone can team with someone amazing. That's ****ing easy and any noob can do that. :p

True... I guess we all shouldn't forget that we should play with whoever in teams to find who you truly sync with. You know... FU... SION...HAAA!

I think Sync > Skill when it comes to teams, but skill does matter, but so does SYNC. LIke "WOW MY PARTNER KNOWS WHAT IM GONNA DO BEFORE I EVEN KNOW IM DOING IT AND THEN HE REACTS WITH LIGHTNING SPEED TO FOLLOW UP AND THEN HE DOES SOMETHING AND I RANDOMLY DO SOMETHING AND HE GOES SOMEWHERE ELSE CUZ HE KNOWS I GOT IT"


Also rehearsing is good too. Like team combos. I want to have team combos. I love teams. <3

Ranmaru i completely agree with the sync thing, entirely. My scrubby *** friends beat cosmo/18spikes in winners bracket 2-0 simply because they had good teamwork.

But i find that the better players [in teams] can dynamically play and sync themselves with their teammate. Its really frustrating to team with someone less skilled with you in teams because they simply don't think about the team in the same way you do; even if you recognize this and work around your teammate, your team will never be able to do very good because he isn't working with you [productively].

Also, i know plenty of people who are very good in singles but suck *** in teams. There are also the rare people who are really good in teams but don't place well in teams.

Yes. It would be nice to talk to someone who finds teams as interesting as I do, and not just "hey who wants a teammate?"

I think we should all be more open to which ever smasher when it comes to teaming, that way we can find our special team mate <3

Although skill is required to know what to do, so is being one with your team mate.

It's sort of like pokemon. Use one, switch one out to another to use it when the other can't handle the situation anymore, maxemize advantage, etc. I like to think of the team matches as 2v1+1 instead of two v1's. Teamwork. : ]

It is a little disspointing to play with someone not as skilled as you, but we can probably learn from that, and work around it. I don't mind.

I mean, maybe the way we practice with teams should be different...

like with singles

You need to fight AGAINST pros, equals, and noobs. To get better, for practice, for creativity. Or maybe I didn't remember exactly what it was, oh well.

Now with teams, how about fighting against those types, or combinations of those, and also PLAYING WITH : Noobs, equals, and pros.


So:

Team with a noob - to practice your team creativity
Team with an equal - for regular practice in a teams setting
Team with a pro - To see how a pro does teams (the pro can't **** the good into you, but maybe the other team might unless your pro is too good xD)



I just thought of that now...
