Yeah, they're un-flinchable. Once you shot them enough times though, they'll be stunned for awhile giving you enough time to shoot/run away.

Capcom has not announced an official timeframe yet, unfortunately.

RE5's online co-op is now disabled for everyone not in japan.

If you try to play online co op in the demo with one of your friends, you are automatically kicked off of Xbox Live. People are saying that Microsoft is denying ips not in japan when you try to play the RE5 demo online.

You can still play it offline through or just wait till the demo is released in NA.

I don't know why they haven't released the demo in NA yet, the demo is in english, all they have to do is change the demo title from "Biohazard 5" to "Resident Evil 5".

EDIT: The demo is coming out in early '09 for North Americans.

"The demo should be available sometime next week for the PSN. Eurogamer confirmed a Feb. 2 (Monday) release across the pond, but we've yet to hear back from Capcom about an official date in North America. At the latest, it'll arrive in time for the standard Thursday PSN update."

RE is all about survival horror, so it wasn't that surprising that the last boss was easy. Isn't that how it is for every RE game?

Haha, The boss was an even bigger joke if you had a Mine Launcher with you. I contemplated not even using the Rocket Laucher they give you to kill him because of how easy it was.

Heh Yeah I'm looking forward to RE5 just because of the off-line co-op. I have a friend who has a PS3 and her and I will attempt it even though she tends to freak out in games where you're being pursued by a monsterous thing...*practices in shooting their legs to a punt*

Though the funniest thing she's said about RE is why they never have a tutorial level to help you get used to the game...

Dang, this one seems a lot more difficult than RE 4. It took me three attempts to beat the gathering area or whatever it's called, I kept running out of ammo. I still haven't beaten the second level.

I got really mad when I was taking on the chainsaw guy with ease, but that stupid ********* *** **** of a partner just stood their and got her head lobbed off.

I kept plowin' through all the ... 'infected?' guys with the Falcon Punch and saw that either three handgun shots or one rifle shot to the face will stun the chainsaw guy leaving him open for an 'action' attack. I did it, turned and gained some distance from him before he charged again, then it cuts to a scene of my partner being chainsawed in half.

I would so love to have a human person who knew what they were doing, or at least have enough sence to stay away from an incoming ch-ch-ch-chainsaw.

I later went on to crying at the length of the demo. It was fun though. The enemies couldve been alot more aggressive then they were. "Im trying to kill you. I shall walk towards you slowly with a bottle in my hand. I hope you dont blow my head off with that shotgun and its shiney red lazer." Big Ax man however is pretty devastating, especially when you turn to run and theres that one random guy blocking your path just long enough for your life to flash before you as the massive ax delivers you from the world of the living.

Demo was pretty hard. I played it in co-op with a friend last night. Took us quite a few tries to beat each segment, mostly cause I jacked around a lot.
We killed big axe guy though, for the record.

You can kill the big axe guy? Really? Cause when me and my brother beat the first mission of the demo, we just booked it into houses, ontop of houses and ran away until the helicopter came to save us. I didn't think you were able to kill him, just stall the enemies long enough for your transportation out of that wicked place.

Oh and we also beat the second mission! I basically stayed in the back with the rifle and shot the chainsaw guy in his head and my brother shot the explosive red barrels when he got close to them. And when he was close to us, we ran back and repeated the strategy.

Overall, good demo. Kinda hard through but satisfying to beat. I would have loved it to be have been longer but it's a demo, what do you expect? And I hate it how they give you small amounts of ammo! (shotgun runs out quickly)

It takes way too many shots to kill anything and the controls are terrible.
