I don't see them ever happening as a playable character. They can't exactly do much in the case of grabbing other characters. Plus isn't Snipperclips meant to be played by 2 people? I played the game with a friend of mine and it's cute and charming and that's about it. I'll take a Snipperclips stage I guess.

Chance - 20% - While they could do it, Squad Strike... strikes me as too similar in concept to be implemented. You can probably get a near-same effect by having Squad Strike on the same stage over and over.

Want - 55% - I can take it, I guess, though Squad Strike seems similar enough that I wonder why the two would be implemented in the same game. It'd feel like wasted develeopment, IMO.

Well, that happened. Due to this, purge will get a delay, we will tomorrow do predictions, then reactions, then satisfaction ratings.

Furthermore, if this is the final direct, which tbh I slightly doubt since they we could get a reveal in a November direct and this could just be the last direct for smash only, we will transition into dlc. That means a new fixed schedule, a cleaned noms list, etc. most of the non deconfirmed heavy hitters will be on the list.

In order to hold over in the event that happens, we will be doing a couple of highlight days. Fav least fave points of speculation, stuff like that.

Bet you all didn't see that coming; you thought I was going to say that the Grinch leak is fake because I mentioned it earlier and I said I was going to throw a curveball. As in so far everybody thinks the Grinch leak is happening. Spirits mode will most likely be covered as well. Every other question that we had about Smash will most likely be answered, leaving us with a complete picture about what to expect when December 7th rolls around. So Grinch leak. And hopefully Megalovania as an official, playable music track. And a Steam Gardens remix. What else am I predicting again?

I like this. I REALLLLY like this. I want this to be true so bad now. It would throw the whole community off guard, with everybody having a good idea for themselves who they think will be the very first character revealed.

I also think it would hilarious if Sakurai mentions and then utterly disproves Vergeben and/or the Grinch leak live during the Direct.

Spirits is talked about. It's a Meleelike adventure mode featuring Smash run enemies.

Returning modes get their spotlight. (All star, Target smash, stage builder, etc)
