Whoa, I thought I would be rating this below 3/10 in the intro. Rap? Not too much in the terms of melody / cool instruments? Annoying backing vocal stuff? Get out of there. But it really picks up at 1:15. Dunno, still not too much going on, but it feels really powerful with the change in instrumentalisation, which is totally enough for me to actually start enjoying the song.kanye west "blood on the leaves" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D0QcxWPB59o
Haha, just was curious enough to look up the artist (I think he's rather famous actually, right? Well, I don't tend to know those :D) and I learned that the high pitched voice samples are actually a trademark of his. I don't think they sound too well, or go with the song nicely, but that's probably just something one has to get used to like everything else.
So well, decent enough rap after the intro. Giving this a 6.5/10.
Also: This is obviously just a slightly more wordy way to get to the part that I actually wanted to do, which is of course posting a song:

If your audience can tell whether your drummer fell asleep halfway through the song, you're doing it wrong!
