How excited would you be if Ken came out of retirement for Genesis? How do you think he would place? What other players would you like to see come out of "retirement" to play at Genesis, or any other tournament?

Depends on if he had been practicing, if he has not kept up then it wouldn't be very exciting at all. Again if he practiced and got back into old form, he could still place very well, top 3 even. Well KDJ is one of my favorites and although he really never retires, I'd like to see him play more. Azen is also the same as KDJ. Isai unretiring might destroy the world so I'll leave him be :)

NEW QUESTION ON FIRST PAGE!

My response:

My favorite player to watch in singles would have to be either M2K (mainly his Marth) and Xif. I just like how fluid and technical they are.

My favorite player to watch in teams would have to be Azen. Not only is he precise, but the amount of forward smashes he throws out, and hits with is amazing.

Favorite player to watch in singles is PC Chris's fox. I just like he always pressures and fluid movement. I like watching Ken's Marth but I also watch M2K on how they control the match. KoreanDJ sheik and fox are just crazy and agressive.

Favorite doubles player would have to be Isai. He's just too good and is everywhere he needs to be.

honestly, probably jeff in singles when he's on point

doubles is maybe isai, but when I get better at melee it will be mango's fox on teams

Oh I forgot about Drephen. Seeing him eat falcos is very entertaining.

I also like how aggressive Mango's fox can be in teams.

Man I wanna answer all these questions since I haven't been around for em...

Question 1: I was gonna saw Brawl because I assumed there would be other people to play with, and I didn't wanna feel obligated to john or receive lag johns from Melee, and I've done lag with Brawl (wifi, anyone?). But if I was alone, f*******k that I'll play laggy melee. I still play Melee SP sometimes, All-Star on very hard, just trying to play a campy Fsmash spamming Marth. Sometimes I get a few matches without getting hit, that's usually what I aim for. I hate SSE...

Question 2: A few weeks ago I thought to myself, "what if Ken and Isai practiced up and teamed for Genesis, hell it could just be for that tournament..." and the thought actually made me feel really excited. I'd never been a huge Ken fan, but I love their team matches. Ken returning to Melee, if not even just for Genesis, would be awesome....

Question 3: In singles, I guess SS / Jeff, Mango, Azen, m2k, PC, im pretty big on KDJ, it's all pretty generic answers. In teams, Isai, Azen, Jeff and Mitchell TANG, yeah. I don't have much different to say on this.

It's not monday alan.

PC's Fox, Ken's Marth, M2k Marth, Bob$ Doc, SS Falcon, Germ Link, Azen Whatever, Chu ICs, Mike G Peach, Isai when he tries(Pokefloats), King Puff, Ka-Master Luigi and Hugs Samus are all very entertaining to watch in singles.

For teams I think mentioning a team rather than a player is better as it is Teams. King and Isai, Mango and Lucky, SS and Tang, Azen and Chillin, M2k and Vidjo.

Consider for how long there have been competitive Mario Kart (Since SNES, through 64, then GBA) and see where they went with that. Gamecube, Wii, and DS, are not as "competitive."

Arguably Mario Kart is more popular than Smash. So in all, I doubt it.

nintendo has never cared about the competitive community, and why should they
no one has played the game more than the competitive community. doesn't necessarily mean they HAVE to care about it, but I think it's a pretty good reason

a remake of melee with rebalanced characters and competitive play in mind would be sex. would never happen though
