i had the SNES games, they were so fun. they're still under my bed w/ my SNES lol.

go to a smashfest the night before
if not then i usually practice a bit then go to bed early

I like playing with a good amount of people the night before

then sleeping for 4 or 5 hours
the "john threshold" for sleep

I like to play throughout the day before the tourney then get a good 8-10 hours of sleep, so im awake as can be once the tourney starts up

i've found it doesn't really matter how much sleep i get (as long as its more than 1-2 hours)
but i don't like feeling crappy after the tournament and have to fall asleep at dinner or something. so i try to smash as much as possible but still get 4 or 5 hours of sleep
