It's alot easier to gimp Peach in teams than it is i to gimp her in singles (if she doesn't recovery the right angles she can easily get spiked or shine spiked) Jiggs can avoid this much in easeir in teams due to versatility in recovering with forward B even when she has no jumps left. If Peach has no jumps left she has her predictable floating down with parsol and in teams its hard to go the angle you want so its really tough avoiding those shine spikes and spikes as compared to singles. Their recoveries are about equal but in teams Jigglies recovery is way better.

Also, Fox + Jiggs beats Fox + Peach. Peach can hang with Jiggs using a defensive came and relying on lots of turnips. In teams its incredibly hard because Jiggs has the advantage with spacing.

Perhaps Fox + peach is stronger in many key matchups, but Fox + jiggs is the more versatile team that can handle way more team matchups.

everything kira and pocky said and adding on to that, peach has a projectile, which has the chance of being incredibly lethal.

but really i dont think peach or jiggs is that different. both have their thing going on.

peach fox or jiggs fox is pretty close

Nope, it's always easier to recover in teams simply because you have a teammate backing you up. If you're getting shinespiked in teams with Peach you're doing something wrong, why would you recover low when at the VERY least you can recover as high as possible and always get back to the stage. Plus you can just wait out your float, the other team has to get off the ledge because your teammate is there. Good Peaches always live forever and hold stocks

Your argument only works if your teammate let's the opposing team both edgeguard you, which defeats the purpose of the question by bringing in varied skill levels.

Also, Fox + Jiggs beats Fox + Peach. Peach can hang with Jiggs using a defensive came and relying on lots of turnips. In teams its incredibly hard because Jiggs has the advantage with spacing.
Jiggs is almost always ignored in a fox / puff team, which limits the effectiveness of her spacing game as you can just run away (and puff is very slow). Plus peach has the matchup advantage on Jiggly. Fox/Puff doesn't counter Fox/Peach at all, if anything it's the other way around.

Perhaps Fox + peach is stronger in many key matchups, but Fox + jiggs is the more versatile team that can handle way more team matchups.
....LOL
Fox/Peach is stronger in many matchups
but Fox/Puff can handle way more matchups.

So .. the best way I can interpret that in your favor is:

fox/peach beats more important (key) matchups
but Fox/Puff can beat more varied matchups? Like what? What team does well against fox/peach that fox/puff does better against?

resting a grabbed opponent isn't really "risky", unless you're really fearing that 2% that it takes to wake you up

and who's dying from an fsmash at 90%? (west coast DI?)
Hmm well sometimes PsychoMidget will fsmash when they're near the ledge (stage dependent of course), or if the stage is at a weird angle or something just in case he misses the rest. But you're right usually it's not risky. And yeah people don't really die from fsmashes at 90.. maybe 110 or so. But if they're at high percent there's really no need for a rest, and even if a rest would work it kind of lessens the impact if you could Fsmash and do the same thing. Basically, rests are only effective between about 40% and 110% and sometimes the grabs just aren't available. Plus if there's a Fox they could be upsmashing / upthrow upair-ing at 90% just as easily.

I don't really know much about their recoveries from experience, but can't peach just float/up-b super high?

Also, Fox + Jiggs beats Fox + Peach. Peach can hang with Jiggs using a defensive came and relying on lots of turnips. In teams its incredibly hard because Jiggs has the advantage with spacing.
i feel that peach's defensive game is actually strengthened by the jiggs (rightfully) being scared to death of getting randomly u-smashed by a fox on the other side. in teams, the area that jiggs can move back and forth in is greatly reduced, which really can squeeze her into getting hit by stray nairs and usmashes that she would normally be able to drift away from

Perhaps Fox + peach is stronger in many key matchups, but Fox + jiggs is the more versatile team that can handle way more team matchups.
i think key matchups is what matters though; being able to wreck, say, both bowser+mewtwo and pichu+kirby is less important than being able to beat sheik+falcon (note: i'm not saying peach/fox is better than peach/jiggs vs sheik/falcon)

also, peach is very playable on corneria and green greens, whereas jigglypuff is much less so

Here some questions
Does your playing style show who you are?
or
If you were to play anyone in the world (win or lose) who would it be and why?

fox

all the reasons why he's on top of the tier list already (great camp game, good combos, gimping, KO power, decent recovery, very very well-represented in tournaments), plus he plays well on every single stage (unlike marth) and is the undisputed best teams character

not really gunna spice things up by saying shiek, since fox ***** shiek the only character that can probably argue this is marth, who i used to think was the best, but ive come to realize its fox

Time to spice things up.

I think its Shiek, discuss.
That's what mew2king says as well. Me personally? I don't know. I'm torn between fox, marth and sheik. Fox has combos, shines, great projectile for racking up damage, gimps, ridiculously strong upsmash, good aerials, and great speed. Marth has range, range, and more range, combos, best edgegaurding in the game, lotsa combos. Sheik has the best tilts, spammable dash attack (within reason), probably the best fair, great aerials, and needles.

Dammit Pocky.

Play me for a second, give them reason why you think Shiek is better than Fox. You're good at these things.

maybe shiek's tilts are better than fox, and i was about to say gimping, but then realized fox is the best gimper in the game

sure sheik's tilts are largely better (though fox's utilt is insane), but there's no point in comparing move vs move; for example; sheik's down-b/side-b are probably the worst in the game, but it isn't relevant when comparing her to other characters because they don't really factor into how she can be played

sheik's tilts and bair let her control space better than fox, but i think this is waaaaay counter-acted by fox's far superior speed/movement

edit: i also think sheik gimps better... though fox gimps well enough and has such a reliable on-stage KO game that i don't think it makes a huge difference

I think M2K along with PC think Sheik is the best. I read it in one of M2K's posts sometime back. Can't remember where though.

As for me, I think it's Fox.
