...because when they asked to MM you, they wanted to play you at your best (which is why they didn't settle for just friendlies)... even if the outcome was never in doubt, if you let on that in your mind, there was really nothing ever at stake, it sends them the message that you may not have been going all out (and you probably weren't)... unless you know each other and MM regularly, then I think it's a bit deflating for the defeated

I think you misunderstood me? I always go all out in any money match and I almost always take the money. Most people who go into MM's expecting to get ***** do so for the experience. In friendlies, you can never be sure how hard the other person is trying.

The only problem is if the better player is a **** about the MM, and blatantly sandbags by the end, but most of our community is above that, I think.

Money's on the line, play to win it. The only time I wouldn't take the money, is if for whatever reason I MM'd a close friend.
