[QLD] SummerSmash Holiday-maker Itinirary

Hey,

So, I'm hosting quite a number of people and I'd like to try and bash out some form of itinerary, as well as just getting my head around when people are here. Right now I only have a general idea of who is staying/going/whatever, so I thought we might put a thread aside to sort it out.

What I'd like you to do is:

1) Get some details on how long you are staying, and where you are intending to stay
2) Figure out what we're going to do during the lead up to and after the tournament.

As for me, I live in Sunnybank and am taking leave meaning I'll be free Wednesday and go back to work Tuesday the next week.

yeah Vyse I arrive in Brisbane at 1:50pm Friday, leave 5:40pm Monday.

Me, Haikal ("Kansho"), Daniel ("Epic"), and Matt ("Danog") are arriving at GC airport on the 15th and departing on the 22nd, and additionally Tommy ("thethingexe") will come up for a shorter period and hasn't booked tickets yet. We're going to go to theme parks and **** as well as the tournament (hence the longer stay). We have no idea where we're staying or how we're getting around yet. Is there any housing still available for any of that time period?

Hey Vyse - as everyone has said you're damn awesome for housing man! As for my flights, I'm arriving at 6:25am on Tuesday the 14th. Since it's so early (and I think you have work :S Sorry bro...) I don't mind catching the train/pub trans to yours, just as long as you give me the skinny on directions Let me know ok?

I'm leaving on the Monday 20th at 8:05pm, so maybe it'd be easier if I just went to the airport at the same time as the Melbourne crew?

As for what to do, I'm keen for anything. Probably keener to do stuff outside if it's not too hot - try and mitigate the amount of gaming time lolol. Also if you guys have any neat bars close by I'd be up for checking them out.

Itinerary:
Thursday will be a Smash day if you are here that early. Will gather at either My place or Vyse's for hours of smashing.

Friday I will be heading down the coast with whoever would like to come. If we get anough cars together, (Which we will if enough people are keen) We can all head down as a group.

Saturday will have Brawl & Melee Tournament.

Sunday will be a chillax day, and chances are, we will organise a trip or dinner somewhere, depending on who is still here. Maybe even make this a TCG day!

Monday for those who are staying here until then are welcome and free to choose what you guys want to do.

I am also on leave for this tournament, and I am housing Leish, Ricky and Zydro. What do you think of the above timetable peoples?

Edit: If Luke and Ted are staying at vyse's too, that makes 8. Do you need any extra bedding and stuff vyse, or do you have all you need?

I will be at Vyses place as well. Times yet I don't know but probs arrive Friday and leave Monday. However this is not garenteed as is my attendance till I manage to get the time of work. Hopefully will know by the end of next week.

@matt, any bedding would be appreciated. I have two mattresses and couches but that's about it. I suggest people bring sleeping bags.

I know you have school during the week BC. I'm happy to take you and your friends assuming they are confirmed if I go up on Friday and return on Sunday. However if I'm still unemployed then I can't really help you out since I'll be going there and back when you need to be at school.

Vyse if I come down when MTGod arrives then housing would be appriciated but I don't want to take up space when more people arrive later in the week so if I can I'll get housing elsewhere on Thursday or something. I'll ask Arrow if he wants to put up with me for a few days lol.
