you guys should run dorf offs in both games simultaneously. that'd probably make the turnout larger. just a thought =]

We only managed brawl doubles last time, we want to do brawl and melee singles next time and make both a priority. Looks like it wont happen this saturday though, bob didnt mention it in the schedule and it doesnt seem like melee people are coming

i know i definitely take the "originalist" state of mind with stages. just because i think the melee stage list is really fun. there's no real strategy or competitive thought behind my opinion, i just like fighting on floating pokemon. i also don't think smash is "hardcore" enough to need to limit the stages so much, especially in australia where we're all so lax anyway (i don't think i've ever stage striked a match in my entire time in the scene even though it's supposed to be the default method for choosing first stage).

umm well Alison and i will be picking up Dave at 8.30 in the morning from Brisbane air port. From there we will go back to mine drop his **** off let him shower wash up etc.

So say about 10ish 10.30 we will leave mine then meet up with everyone in the city? so prob meet about 11. 11.30ish? just meet at the arcade and we will decide what to do from there.

Sunday but its early morning for the football since my fav player just got dropped to under 20s this week so i need to watch it. But the game finish at about 4. We could meet up in the city again if you want. depends on when dave needs to head back to the air port
