Who's the best actual (i.e. non-wifi) Snake you've ever played though?

The matches are good but they aren't a very good representation of what the real metagame will be like. There are plenty of things that work offline but not on wifi, and plenty of things you can get away with on wifi that wouldn't work offline. Not to mention the borked codeset you have to use just to be able to play wifi in the first place.

my opponents arent pros, but its all Ive got for now. besides me, I honestly dont know any other zard players x.x I met one on wifi but he was pretty bad.

and jcaes, don't sleep on wifi. it's really not too different, just reactions are delayed. which OBVIOUSLY changes things, and offline is obv better haha, but its great for what it is. people slept on brawl wifi too, but many of the top players (ally, adhd, anti) all got good through it.

Also, forum support is ignoring my ban plea =[ which sucks because having to come on here is kinda annoying.

Stingers, you know at least one Zard secondary.

Technically, he's my main (comain?) in the demo since my real main isn't in the demo.

Is there a technical reason why wavedashing feels so off to me? For example, with Falco in melee I can wavedash fine. but with Falco in Project M I am only successful a fraction of the time.

@Stingers:Well... you're clearly way better than them... and you don't look too bad... can't really judge without competent competition, though...

@Little England: wanna show that zard is actually good?.. doo it!!!! i wanna be convinced that zard is awezome!!!

I play against some Good Zards already. He's not what people think he is a sleeping giant. His only stand out weakness to me is....him being a giant. He's got the bulk issue and can camped out but just like the rest of the heavy hitters he can make his attacks count for much more for then cheap shot projectiles.

WHY are the C-stick not working all the time?
I had the same problem in brawl too when I played that game. Hopefully something that is possible to change.

Except from that I wanna say everyone involved have done a great job so far =)
Pit/Wario/Wolf/Toon Link (don't freak out :p) are all really cool chars.

I will not play Peach again I think even if she seems to still be a really good/fun char

A lot of Florida peeps are looking into alternating between Melee and Project M feature tournaments, including HBox. Pretty excited to hear about it myself and of course, I'm definitely interested in assisting with that.

Could you describe your issue in more detail? The issue might be that the c-stick needs to be returned to neutral before it can be registered again, which is something we haven't been able to fix yet but are aware of.

I'm not expecting anything soon, but in the event that more characters are added in an inevitable patch, how many might we see get released at once? Also, what impact do you think PM will have on Smash Bros U's development?

I'm not 100% on this, but I think Armada's issue is a worn out (or just old) C-stick. Combine that with the way C-stick works in Brawl and there you have it. It happened to me often with my messed up controller.

Me and my friends are making a video about Project M for our Calculus class. So, you can expect PM to be advertised to future AP Calc classes for at least 10 years. I'm not going to show too much gameplay, because they're that bad, but it's something.

Is JC's stream over already? I just went to look at it, and I don't see anything.

And Toaster, you know you love wifi. Remember those great games we had? You know, where your Falcon ran off stage four times in a row?

The only issue I really have with him is that some of his setups out of his combos from his shine can be easily escaped. that and his Nair usually leads to a shield grab....then again most attacks in this game leads to a shield grab...:glare:
