For such a stereotypical romantic otaku comedy, it is quiet awesome. I've read the entire manga to date and am watching what is currently released of the anime now. And I'm fairly selective on what I watch.
I don't see how it's stereotypical, I'd never heard the premise before.
The manga's good, but I've never watched the show, is it worth it?

About the playtesters, do they get access to the PMBR as soon as they get accepted?
And can they start uploading videos right away?
Cause new sources for PM videos would be great.

Nikita should slow down when turning, since that's how it works in the games. However, it could be tweaked to not be SO bad. Or just reduce the lag and increase the knockback.
It seems that Nikita's calling is to attack recoveries from a long distance. But when it's up against the alternatives of pulling a mine, C4, or grenade, it's gonna need to be good.

So what's going to be done about Lucas' broken Final Smash? I know that's on the backburner right now, and with good reason. However, I know upon final release the PMBR is aiming to cater to a broad audience and casuals will flip if they learn final smashes won't work.

For now, we'll leave it alone. If someone not in the PMBR wants to try and find a way to make his FS work but still retain his OU, be our guest. We probably won't try it ourselves because we aren't really catering to casuals, ie; items and FSes.

.rels are also very limited in terms of space. You can't just add stuff as you please... so sometimes, character modifications require sacrifices. But as Monk said, I'm pretty sure that if someone makes a fix, they'll gladly take it and give credit where it is due.

Also, the game's made by hardcores, for hardcores. I think what the PMBR said was that casuals may find enjoyement in it too. But the target audience isn't these people At least, this is how I understand it.

I have friends who only play casually and they consider items to be BS, especially smash balls, one of them even felt Brawl's only flaws were smash balls(cause they screwed with the balance according to him) and the game's speed.
I'm pretty sure the game will appeal to more than just competitive players, just having a large balanced cast seems like a huge selling point.

Balancing the items will also help appeal to those who liked the way the items worked in melee and 64, which I am willing to continue to do myself in the future.

All I did before was Pokemon and ATs.

It's almost sad(and a little droll) at how I basically removed the Soul Dew from Lati@s.

Grab = Instant K.O...I like that loltimer.

Fixed items would be a great addition IMO, but this kinda stuff is best as a side-project or for when PM is done.

They might be using a Go-to variable. If that's true, they modified the item, and THEN they had the character use some of that item's properties. That may be what happened with the Star Rod and Dedede. In other words, modify the item, and you modify that character.

Am I right?

I did an extremely long time ago. Liken, early 2010. I should prolly re-apply. :/
I guess that's why I didn't see your application, I was looking at them a while ago, but I thought playtester applications went up to the second page. Best of luck.

Also, is anyone streaming this weekend?
